Would You Walk Past This House?
Be honest... If you saw a house with tall grass, broken windows, trash outside, and a roof that looks rough… would you see a problem or would you see a possible deal? Most beginners get scared by ugly houses. But wholesalers should get curious. Because the worse a house looks, the more likely there’s a story behind it. Maybe the owner is overwhelmed. Maybe they’re behind. Maybe they inherited it. Maybe they’re tired of repairs. Maybe they’re just done. While everybody else is fighting over pretty houses on the MLS… the real opportunity might be sitting in the ugly house nobody wants to touch. Less competition. More motivation. Bigger spread. Favorite Way to Find Deals?
Everybody wants deals… but the real question is: What method are you actually going to do consistently? Because the best lead source is not always the fanciest one. It’s the one you’ll actually work. So vote: Driving for dollars Cold calling Texting Direct mail Word of mouth Each one works if you work it. Driving helps you spot distress with your own eyes. Cold calling gets you live conversations fast. Texting helps you reach more people quickly. Direct mail keeps you in front of sellers over time. Word of mouth lets people bring opportunities to you. It’s a mix of all for me. I can get some data, I will make some calls send text messages but I’m not consistent. I’m not consistent because I have no guidance, no system in place that will keep me consistent. And of course fear, in my mind I’m missing something it doesn’t click. I understand what to do but I don’t have the pieces lined up. Ie: systems. Like @Gabo Sana I have difficult time managing family and business. Hope I can figure this out soon I have been “learning” for a while with 1 failed deal to show for it.

Stop waiting until everything is perfect before you start reaching out. You don’t need the perfect script. You don’t need the perfect system. And you don’t need to watch 10 more videos. You just need conversations.
