Hello! My name is Tammy and I'm from Erie PA. I've been with Sunshines for about 3 years. I retired in 2020 just as I learned I had cancer in the bile ducts of my liver. It was not the future I envisioned for myself. I went through chemo and a successful surgery. Then I learned it had metastasized to my lungs. I've been alternating between traditional chemo and immunotherapy drugs. It's keeping the cancer from growing. This will most likely be a lifelong strategy. I am currently recovering from my second hip replacement. I hope to be walking without assistance in a few weeks. I have big plans to get healthier this year and to get outside and walk. I'm a gnome maker and I hope to do 8-10 craft shows this year. Most are outdoor events which is quite a physical workout setting up tents, tables, etc. Being strong is a blessing we take for granted. I hope you all have a happy and healthy 2026. ♥️
