Learn to Protect Yourself
Today was boxing. A lot of people have asked about it, and I’ve also heard the “no, I don’t want to hit” reaction. Fair. If you’ve never done it before, the idea can feel aggressive. But here’s the truth: boxing here is not about violence. It’s about responsibility and capability. Real life is unpredictable. You don’t get to choose the moment you’re tested. If a day comes where you need to protect yourself, that is the worst moment to discover you freeze, you panic or you don’t know what to do. You don’t have to “love hitting” to train this. You can start with basics: - stance, guard, footwork - distance and control - breathing and staying calm under pressure - how to protect yourself and get away Controlled training, safe partners and clear rules. Technique is first, and ego is last. You choose your intensity. We don’t do workouts just to sweat. Every session has a purpose, even the ones that aren’t fun. We train to be capable. Not to look tough. So if life ever demands it, you can stand your ground with calm and confidence 🤜 See more photos from todays session! https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/18amjuaJxyMqfTNmWRnQtE6Xt2Tfb83eU?usp=sharing
