Steal This Prompt: Author Podcast
Want to see what you would look like as a bestselling author getting invited to exclusive podcast studios? Let's see. (use a photo of you and your book) 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗧👇 Create a polished, photorealistic image of a best-selling author being interviewed in a high-end professional podcast studio about their book. Show the author seated across from a podcast host with professional microphones, warm cinematic lighting, modern studio décor, and recording equipment in the background. The author should look confident, successful, and engaged in the conversation. Include a large TV screen on the wall behind or beside the author. On the screen, prominently display the uploaded book cover along with a short, bold headline based on the book’s topic or the transformation it gives the reader. Use the book title, subtitle, topic, ideal reader, and reader transformation to create a compelling 3–8 word headline instead of simply repeating the book title. Make the author the main focus of the image while still showing enough of the host to clearly communicate that this is a podcast interview. Keep the book cover and TV screen easy to see and make any text large, clean, and readable. The overall image should feel like a candid photo taken during a major podcast appearance and communicate that this author is a trusted authority who was invited on the show to talk about their book. Avoid random logos, fake podcast names, excessive text, distorted hands, duplicate people, or unreadable typography.

🔍 Did You Research Before Writing?
Your Topic Can Make or Break Your Book’s Success 📚 A great book on the 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰 can still struggle to sell. I’ve worked in SEO for over 14 years, and one thing I know is this: demand matters. If you choose a topic people are already searching for—especially one that solves a clear problem—you give your book a much better chance of getting found and generating organic sales. That’s exactly how I approach my own self-help nonfiction books. 𝗜’𝗺 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: “What do I want to write about?” 𝗜’𝗺 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: “What are people already looking for?” For Amazon research, one of the best tools I’ve found for beginners is Publisher Rocket. It can help you identify keyword demand, competition, and potential opportunities before you commit to a topic. I cover this process in much more detail inside my Publishing Playbooks, including how to think about topic selection, evergreen demand, positioning, and keyword research. 🔥 The Publishing Playbooks are currently on sale for just $15 through the end of the month. After that, they go back to $27. 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗦 If you’ve been on the fence, this is a great time to grab them. You’re getting a ton of publishing strategy for one low price. Don’t just write a book and hope people want it. Start by finding what people are already looking for.

Yes, I do research. Where do I find just the "Publishing Rocket Playbook"? In the classroom I see only a black screen sayign 15$ and on the left a long list of chapters but don't find this specific one... And the link to "Publishign Rocket" goes to a $199 external offer... Is that deliberate? Are you a partner of them? Thank you for your practical guidance. I appreciate that!

@Krista Brea None of my readers or clients I know has ever been on Tiktok… I have the prejeduce that there only K-pop dancing Asian teens, cat videos, and rambling strange stuff on it. Are you using it and getting readers for your books there?

@Krista Brea Congrats for attracting the right readers for your book! And kudos for your efforts. I hear you regarding burnout! I nearly died 010724 and was utterly burntout with the doctors no explaination. Took me a ton of detective work, money, time, effort, and self-healing. Starting newly with stabelized health, symptom free, and new nervous system capacity. But stress and hustling stay a ‘no-no’ for me! I know now they can literrally kill me.
Magic 8 Ball
Here's another FUN PROMPT you can do ... upload your photo and your book and ask the 8 ball. PROMPT👇 Create a fun, polished social media image that features me as the author, my uploaded book cover, and a classic Magic 8 Ball as the main visual concept. Use the uploaded photo of me as the author image and the uploaded book cover exactly as visual references so the final design feels personalized to my book and brand. Based on the title, cover design, genre, mood, and any visible clues from the book, create a short, curiosity-driven question that my ideal reader would immediately relate to. Display that question prominently in the image, then show a Magic 8 Ball with a short answer appearing inside the blue answer window. Keep the Magic 8 Ball answer approximately 2–6 words so it looks realistic, and make the answer clever, intriguing, encouraging, or playful while connecting naturally to the theme or promise of the book. Position my author photo and book cover in a way that feels intentional and visually balanced without overpowering the Magic 8 Ball concept. Match the colors, typography, background, and overall style to the uploaded book cover so the finished graphic feels cohesive and on-brand. Make the design eye-catching, highly readable, social-media friendly, and designed to encourage people to stop, read the question, and engage with the answer.

Publishing tools are easier to access than ever, which is amazing—but we still have a responsibility to publish ethically. ✅ 𝗗𝗢 - Use photos, graphics, and illustrations you created or have permission to use. - Use properly licensed stock images, fonts, and design elements. - Check commercial-use rights before putting anything into a book or on a cover. - Create original covers, descriptions, interiors, and branding. - Get permission when using identifiable real people in your books, stories, or marketing. - Use AI as a tool to assist your work while still reviewing what it creates. - Respect other authors, creators, community members, and their intellectual property. - Fictionalize identifying details when you're inspired by real-life situations and do not have permission to share them. 🚫 𝗗𝗢𝗡'𝗧 - Do NOT use someone else's personal photo on your book cover without written permission. - Do NOT assume a photo is free to use because it was posted on Facebook, Instagram, Skool, Google, or another website. - Do NOT publish stories about real people in a way that makes them identifiable without considering consent and privacy. - Do NOT copy another author's cover, title treatment, description, interior, branding, or content. - Do NOT use AI to recreate someone's likeness or work and assume that makes it okay to publish. - Do NOT take screenshots, community posts, private conversations, or personal information and turn them into book content without permission. - Do NOT assume that because you technically can publish something, you should. ⭐ 𝗔 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 If you would feel violated, embarrassed, or uncomfortable finding out someone published it about YOU without asking, think twice before publishing it about someone else. We can build profitable publishing businesses while still respecting copyright, consent, privacy, and other creators. What would you add to this list? 👇

@Krista Brea I just watched on BBC a report about the big trial against Meta regarding profiting from deliberatly creating services that harm children and teenagers… It madd me wonder why we as society and in small private groups don’t discuss more often the erosion of ethics and morality in society especially in the last ten years due to social media. As a brain geek I have the assumption which is fully a result of my own thinking and not rooted in any published scientific research: I believe the “digital virtual world” caused or in most cases widened a sensual disconnection between users and their own bodies. Truth and the sense for it lives in the body! Not in the mind. When people live more and more virtual they literally lose their somatic sense for truth, right, and wrong. That’s why you needed to write a post to educate online working peopke about something which was common sense untill 25 years ago! (My personal opinion based on reasonening not research.)

@Krista Brea yeap, their brutality and lack of responsibility is appaling. Neuroscience sadly shows that above a certain kevel if neurotransmitter activity in outr brain’s power/status registreeung region the area for empathy is suppressed!!!
