This stretch helps improve spinal flexibility, encourages better posture, and can relieve stiffness or mild discomfort in the lower back when done correctly and without force. Hamstring Stretch Performed By extending one leg and reaching toward the toes while keeping the back straight, this stretch improves leg flexibility and reduces tension that can affect the lower back. Child’s Pose Performed by kneeling and resting the torso forward with arms extended, it makes deep breathing and relaxation better. This stretch is especially useful for cooling down after exercise or easing stress and muscle tightness.
