@Jill Cooper I hope you don't mind if I cut and paste what I wrote out earlier. It has been years since I set up my WISE account. 1) I noticed that some of my int'l royalties get hit with a flat fee. $6.11. So, for ex., if Tolino is paying me a small amount, $27.06, then WISE paid me only $20.95. WISE rep said this is because Tolino paid me in USD. 2) For previous payments from another publisher, I can't see a fee, but the WISE rep, whom I drove crazy for 51 minutes (who kept putting me on hold to find out answers) said the other publisher must have paid in euros. I can't see the fee. 🥺 But he said there was a fee and that it was smaller. 3) Then he said that the money in my WISE account, small Total Balance, that is just Tolino money, is there because WISE no longer sends to a bank via ACH. Really? 4) He said to access the money in my WISE account, which is in USD, I have to send it to myself, and there might be a fee. I said, so I've paid a fee for my royalties and have to pay another fee to get my money? Yes. 5) Then he advised me to get paid in euros, as I can have a euro Total Balance alongside my USD Total Balance, and when I send that euro money to myself, it will automatically be converted, and have a smaller fee. Still two fees, one when paid and one when transferred to my bank. I don't remember this. 6) My bank says it will charge $50 for int'l wires, which I think might happen if I get paid in euros. COLOR ME CONFUSED. I'm just trying to fill in a new contract with a German publisher and cannot figure out what to put in the bank section. Is all that info correct? The WISE rep had to keep putting me on hold and going and finding stuff out, so I'm not sure about any of it. You know how you feel when you ask a KDP rep a question. THANKS!!
