Creatine?
Do you take it? Tell me about it.

@Lindsey McGehee Thanks for reading. I thought it might help to gain a bit more insight on the long term effects and safety to what my brother Jens was sharing. Not that many people consume Creatine (monohydrate creapure) for so long, therefore I wrote this post. Retention happens in the cell indeed. It supports the well functioning of our mitochondria (energy supplier) during anaerobe exercises.

@Lindsey McGehee My brother can help you better with specific nutrition planning. But, indeed limit supplements is the best way to go. As for women, with low iron, often it occurs around your period too... Supplementing prior can assist in that matter. Liver for instance contains lot of iron support too. Personally I've always used creatine monohydrate and protein shakes as only supplementation (mostly whey protein when I travel or work abroad). Mainly try to focus on real foods, sunlight exposure, and sufficient sleep. For fuller muscles, consider complex carb intake (some overlook the importance of carbs also in terms of optimal recovery)
Goal Achieved!
I’m thrilled to share one of my personal goals ( for sure not the only one ) : I participated in the Belgian National Streetlifting Competition and proudly finished 3rd in my weight class (-94kg)! 💪 This wasn’t easy—training for streetlifting while juggling work, life, and limited access to proper equipment (shoutout to Zeeman for keeping me creative 😅) has been a real challenge. Every rep, every set, every drop of sweat counted. What this taught me: consistency and determination matter more than perfect conditions. Even when it’s tough, progress is possible if you stay committed. To anyone pursuing a goal that seems difficult or unconventional: trust the process, embrace the struggle, and celebrate every win , big or small.
