I've been counting my calories and macros religiously, playing pickleball, walking, lifting weights. Week 1 I was #20 on the leaderboard. Week 2 I don't exist but Im still losing 1 to 2 pounds a week. I feel great(which is key) It's healthy. It's sustainable and I'm not hungry. I'm still enjoying life. I'm not expecting to be a big winner in this contest. I never did. It's hard to lose the last 15 which is where I am after a lot of hard work. I just needed this hive mind to get going. But I do notice very few women on the Leaderboard. Are there less of us signed up? Maybe. Men drop weight faster. Their metabolisms are just different. I think in the future, it's better to divide us into 2 groups for fairness. That's just my 2 cents. Having said that, it's pretty exciting to see so many people trying to do better for themselves. Keep going!

@Danielle Herod I've been aiming for a 500 calorie deficit per day. Sometimes it's just 100 or 200 but I'm sticking to my guns. It's getting easier. I rely feel your pain Maycember is upon us! It's so hard! You have a great attitude. Keep going!

Protein and High Fiber Pasta
One hack I found extremely useful is getting a high protein, high fiber, low-carb pasta substitute. Fiber Gourmet Carbe Diem Barilla Protein + Are some of my favorite. 10/10 would recommend

I make a chicken breast pesto pasta with that Barilla+ and my whole family loves it. You can't tell the difference. So good!
