When I joined the club I told members that I am not good at faces. A few weeks ago Christina sent out a link to make Laughing faces which I have been dying to have a go at. She is not perfect but to me she is beautiful. Eyes are a little wonky.

A few people have said they’d love to have a go at figure modelling, so I’m seeing if there’s enough interest to run this as a small LIVE Zoom project. If you normally make flowers and animals but fancy trying people, this could be a really fun one to stretch yourself with. It would be: ✨ 6 live Zoom sessions ✨ Monday evenings, 7.30pm–9.30pm ✨ Step-by-step teaching ✨ Weights + templates ✨ Me watching your work and helping you tweak things as we go ✨ Recordings to watch back ✨ £60 for the full project It looks advanced, but it’s actually built from simple shapes — the detail comes from the painting, shading and dusting. I’ll only run it if I have enough people wanting to join, so for now I’m just checking interest. The idea is that, over time, we’ll build a complete set of safari animals so you’re never stuck when it comes to creating a cute safari-themed cake again!
