Thursday 27th Nov Live? I can't access any recordings at all!
This started out with me trying to listen to last Thursdays meeting, but I can't access any recordings at all - screen just says meeting about to start for all of them 🤔 Anyone else having this problem?

Unfortunately I have a prior commitment on Thursday and miss all the live calls. Grateful for recordings.
Just wanted to wish my complaint with Octoplasm a happy birthday
Yes, my complaint is exactly 3 years old today!! And it just keeps on getting worse and worse. They eventually capitulated and sent a SAR response (still under review as I can't read most of it) and as I never speak to them on the phone, I was intrigued to see that there was a phone recording in September 2025. To my horror, it's NOT my Dad (the vulnerable 89 year old customer) but someone pretending to be him! It's the person who is my safeguarding suspicion!! The tw*t manipulating my Dad! I could go on but I'm probably at the point where I'll either spontaneously combust or just go sit in a corner going ga ga ga ga and drooling ................

Much sympathy. Is there anything you can do about the person manipulating your dad? This sounds like evidence to me!
Digital ID? WTF Do We Do
- Petitions = data collection. They ignore them. - MPs = whipped into obedience. Party loyalty > people. - Begging the system = playing their game, on their terms. So, if you’re serious about resisting, it can’t be about begging the same machine that’s building the cage. The real levers are elsewhere. Here’s a strategy framework your members could use: 1. Starve the Beast Every system runs on compliance. If enough people refuse, delay, or slow-walk adoption, the rollout collapses. - Don’t download the app. - Don’t volunteer info beyond what’s legally required. - Use existing IDs (NI, passport, licence) wherever possible. - Opt for paper/physical alternatives if they exist (forcing the state to maintain “legacy routes” costs them money). They only win if the majority roll over and adopt it without friction. 2. Parallel Systems = Real Power When people can’t rely solely on the state, they build alternatives: - Private trade networks (cash, barter, crypto, local exchange). - Mutual aid communities (housing, food, work). - Independent ID systems (trust-based groups, private trusts, lawful paperwork). - Alternative media (stop swallowing BBC/Sky narratives, build/share independent channels). A digital ID is powerless if you don’t need it for the life you’ve built. 3. Legal & Equity Pressure - Judicial review challenges (arguing disproportionate intrusion vs GDPR, Human Rights Act). - Equity trusts & private law routes (separating equitable rights from statutory “personhood”). - Data protection challenges (ICO complaints, SARs, GDPR breaches).Even if you don’t “win,” you slow them down and force transparency. 4. Mass Non-Compliance They cannot enforce this on 60+ million people if enough say “No.” - Remember Blair’s ID cards? Shelved because people resisted. - Remember Poll Tax? Collapsed when millions refused. The trick is numbers. If you and 10 friends resist, you’re a nuisance. If you and 10 million resist, the policy is dead.

@Robert Ousey encouragingly, a few of the people I have spoken to that fell for the COVID bollox are vehemently against the digital ID plans. I am remaining optimistic that the majority won't go along with it.

@F Michie this is very powerful but we need to find a positive way of stating this because my innerstanding is that the universe doesn't understand negatives. One has to be careful how One words things. How about something along the lines of 'I alone am in full control of my life, my actions and my destiny'. Perhaps someone can think of a better way to say this. What do you think?
Better Eyesight without Glasses
Any updates? 22nd Jan 26 - How is everyone doing? Improvements? Given up? Forgot about it? Thought I would share this as Peter mentioned something about black pinhole glasses training your eyes in last week's meeting. This book was first published in 1919 in the USA, over 100 years ago. It was recommended to me by someone who had read it, followed the exercises and no longer wore glasses. I gave it a go. I'm short sighted (myopic) and been a glasses wearer for more than 40 years. I noticed a small change after a week, a significant change after 3 and stopped wearing my glasses after a month! I've passed this book to 2 other people just in case it was a fluke and they have also been able to ditch their glasses 🤓 I wonder why opticians don't know this 🤔 (rhetorical question of course). I got my copy from World of Books, I've bought copies for another 2 people as word is spreading and I wanted my copy back 😁

Fur babies Post
here is a pic of my girl Mia. she is a Spanish Podenco, i found her abandoned with 3 pups, all boys, left in a plastic bottle crate with a filthy carpet for a blanket. I found her on 17th November 2011, she was probably about 18 months maybe, but obviously we'll never know. We kept them in one of our bathrooms in our apartment in Mijas Costa, Spain. We found homes for all 3 pups and kept little Mia, she sadly passed on 18th November 2024, 13 years and 1 day after finding her. So just for fun and pleasure, share your own fur babies🐶💜

@Marcus Green fun but also mishaps. Spent half of 2023 recovering from a broken ankle after Jasmine decided to wipe me out! I have forgiven her, though 😊😭
