Why This Community Exists: Building Trust, Not Noise
This group was created to take a more educated, intentional approach to digital platforms—and to support one another while doing it. We’re now 220 members strong, actively engaging across digital media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. That alone tells me something important: people want to learn how to show up better online—they just don’t want to feel salesy, spammy, or uncomfortable doing it. Let’s reset the narrative: - Spam is not a viable marketing strategy. - Inundating people with constant business messages is not a marketing strategy. - Creating only sales-focused videos is not a marketing strategy. As a creative director and coach with 20 years of experience, I help specific businesses—and highly regulated professionals—become more impactful through storytelling. We don’t buy from people who constantly push sales messages. We buy from people we know, like, and trust. Digital media and social media are trust builders and relationship builders. And honestly—doesn’t it feel a little sticky spamming your friends all the time? So instead of forcing sales, let’s lean into what actually works: telling real stories about the things we enjoy, the work we do, and the experiences that shape us. That’s how you naturally attract more like-minded professionals into your ecosystem. Your Required Challenge (This Week) Using only your cell phone, create a short video that has nothing to do with selling. - Tie it to your industry or - Tie it to something you genuinely enjoy or do regularly Post it on social media. Then come back to this community and share the link so we can support you with likes and comments. It’s simple—but participation matters. Let’s see how many people actually complete the challenge. Trust is built one human moment at a time. Let’s build it together.

@Michael Cunniff thank you
Building online businesses feels easier with the right people around
One thing I’ve noticed is that online business becomes less confusing when you’re around people who are building too. Different models, Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, wholesale, but the fundamentals are similar: systems, consistency, and learning from mistakes. I’m here to learn, share, and improve over time. What are you currently working on?

You Made It Through Another Year
You Made It Through Another Year. That alone matters. The past year wasn’t easy for a lot of agents. Between affordability challenges and constant “agents are overpaid” noise, this wasn’t a year where you could just post and expect results. The bar for content is higher now. Consumers are more skeptical, more informed, and more selective. What you say, how you show up, and what you post actually matters again. Before jumping into January ideas, here’s a quick breakdown of how content evolved—and what to carry forward. Content Trends to Carry Into 2026 1. Collaboration Content Still Wins Joint Reels, shared carousels, and co-created posts continue to outperform solo content. One of the strongest plays: collabs with local businesses.They get exposure. You get access to a new audience. Everyone wins. As algorithms get harder to crack, borrowing attention beats chasing it. 2. AI Content Fatigue Is Real Feeds are flooded with generic, over-polished, motivational-style content that says a lot… and means very little. Audiences can now spot: - Overwritten hooks - Perfect but empty takes - Content that feels manufactured For 2026, clarity > cleverness. Substance > statements. 3. Highly Edited Short-Form Fell Off Raw, useful, human content outperformed polished talking-head videos. People want: - Imperfect delivery - Real experiences - Practical insight This trend is likely here to stay. 4. Live Content Had a Big Year Live content removes editing, scripting, and polish—and that’s the point. It feels real in a sea of filters. For agents, this means: - Live YouTube videos - TikTok Lives - In-person events (Instagram Live continues to underperform.) 5. Hyperlocal Content Keeps Winning Community-focused content consistently outperformed: - Generic real estate advice - Just Listed / Just Sold posts What works: - Local business spotlights - Community updates - “Only locals understand this” content People care deeply about where they live. Lean into that.

5 Ways to Become the Go-To Real Estate & Mortgage Resource
5 Ways to Become the Go-To Real Estate & Mortgage Resource in South Florida Written by Michael Cunniff, Branch Marketing Director, Fairway Home Mortgage If technology alone could replace agents and loan officers, it would’ve happened already. But real estate isn’t just a transaction, it’s about people, families, and the biggest financial decisions of their lives. Sure, portals and apps are everywhere. But when it comes to buying a home in South Florida, people want a trusted professional with local knowledge, experience, and heart. Here are five ways to stand out as the first call buyers make when it’s time to purchase or refinance a home. 1. Build a Recognizable Personal Brand In a competitive market like South Florida, your brand is your anchor. Define what makes you different, whether it’s your expertise with first-time buyers, relocation clients, or luxury waterfront deals. Show up consistently: - Partner with local businesses (coffee shops, beach gear, smoothie spots). - Surprise clients with thoughtful branded gifts they’ll actually use. - Share Reel-format scenarios like “What really happens during inspection” or “How to stand out in a multiple-offer deal.” 2. Step Up as a Community Leader People want to work with professionals who care about more than closings. - Volunteer with nonprofits, kids’ programs, or beach cleanups. - Attend HOA or city meetings so you can confidently discuss community issues. - Be seen as a voice that represents your neighborhood, not just your business. 3. Support Local Fundraisers & Events South Florida has no shortage of cultural events, galas, and charity fundraisers. These are powerful opportunities to connect. - Volunteer when you can’t afford a ticket. - Sponsor a table or bring clients and referral partners to build deeper relationships. - Show up, spend money locally, and let your community see you in action. 4. Create a “New-to-South-Florida Starter Kit” Moving here is a lifestyle shift. Instead of just champagne at closing, give them community.

Hi, I’m Racheli Refael, a mortgage advisor who partners with real estate professionals every single day. One thing I kept hearing from agents? The same frustration: “I know I need to show up online, but I don’t know what to post. And even when I do, it’s not bringing in real leads.” Sound familiar? That’s exactly why we built something different at our branch—not another course or checklist—but a real, working marketing community led by our branch marketing director, Michael Cunniff. This isn't about going viral. It's about creating content that actually converts into closings. 🎙️ In this episode, we cover: - How to use social media to consistently generate real estate leads - The content strategies that actually bring in clients - How to stand out in a crowded market using digital tools - Why early collaboration between mortgage and real estate is a game changer - How Fairway Next Level gives agents the tools, systems, and support to grow This is digital marketing built for agents, not influencers. It’s about showing up as you, connecting with the right people, and building your business without burning out. 📣 If this conversation has helped you—or if you have questions or need support. Drop a comment below. I’d love to hear what’s been impactful or how I can help you even more. *https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16zBImwE1-4
