Day 6 - scheduled automation
I built an scheduled task to help me mentally keep up with some AI newsletters I signed up for. 1. Once a week, Claude will go to my Gmail and check the _AI Newsletters folder. It will read and summarize everything from the past 7 days, helping me reinforce what I had read previously, or reminding me to go back to a specific topic. 2. I chose a scheduled task because I intend to do this once a week, not just in a 3 day window. (I did play with loops though for other things.) 3. Again, I'm amazed at how quickly Claude can work and correct itself. PS - Which newsletters are you subscribed to? #AISChallenge

@Jason Elam oh, that's a great idea. Thank you!
Day 2 results #AISChallenge
Completed Day 2. I will be going back to this part of the challenge and do something a little more challenging. It took a few false starts to get used to working with Visual Studio and incorporating it with Claude. I finally settled on scrapping some info from WebMD.

@Mike Chinea nice use!
#AISChallenge day 1 newsletter
so i built a newsletter for a market research for tourism and how ai automations can help. wasnt able too use firecrawl so it kinda did some errors however it was pretty good. i kinda under estimate claudes abilities too much and target for stuff that is more simpler but i later realized claude can do almost anything with the promt. i guess for me to improve is minimising tokens and writing better prompts, when i am sending msgs i get worried because i dont want to hit my limits. in addition i feel like i should plan a lil more when i do these

@Kyle Caruana I second this.
‼️First cold outreach call to offer a website‼️
It’s also my first time posting myself here, I would have prefered if i had a fresh haircut when i took this video 😅😅 Anyways, this was my first phone cold outreach i had today, and thought it was worth sharing to see how you would have handled that differently, would you have done the same or pushed a bit when he said he wasnt interested? Let me know what you think! Although he isnt interested, im posting it as a win because it takes some courage to deal with rejections

@Fouad Nara still progress! 💪
Today I learned something I hadn't really thought about before.
I always assumed tools like Claude Cowork were the next step. But after talking with a few builders here, I realized a lot of experienced people are building their own AI workspaces instead. One setup that caught my attention was using Claude Code with an Obsidian vault and local scripts to organize knowledge and automate development workflows. I'm still learning Cowork and rebuilding examples while making videos about what I learn. But now I'm curious to explore this side too. Feels like the real skill isn't learning one AI tool. It's learning how to connect them together. Has anyone else built around Obsidian or a similar knowledge system?

@Viktoriia Didur oh, that's cool. I've read about Obsidian, but I haven't played with it yet. Is it fairly intuitive to use?

@Biel Sánchez That's a great point. I have a friend who's dealing with that now, and I see it on the human side in my 9-5. I wonder if it would help to have a quarterly sweep on all decisions >= 90 days old. I'm early in my process, but what do you think that could look like?
