🌟Handling Client Requests & Contracts 🌟
Hey everyone! I'm facing a common challenge with a client: constant requests for detail changes that require re-rendering everything. It's time-consuming and frustrating. How do you handle such situations? Do you have any contract templates or approaches to set clear expectations and minimize last-minute changes?

My current client is paying me by the hour, so, the more revisions, the better!

So excited… brand newish computer
I’m in the process of migrating from a 2018 Intel MB Pro to an M1 Max MB Pro. I’m pleasantly surprised at how fast it rendered the classroom Blender scene. About 7 minutes vs my Radeon 6900 (which is faster and in my HP tower) but I can carry this with me. I am really hoping this will help me be more productive.

The new M3 Max gpu units have hardware raytracing and some kind of pre-caching that makes them even faster than the M1 Max. They use less power also, but that $4k price kind of stings. It will be interesting to see what Intel comes up with in the coming days also. Might drive Apple’s prices down to have some competition.

Update: I had assumed the classroom scene was set to GPU render; those times are for the CPU. Once I switched over to GPU, the Radeon 6900 time was 33 seconds, and the MB Pro M1 Max (24-core GPU) was 98 seconds. Not too shabby considering the fan didn’t even come on.
