Lots of fun and charity lately
Just starting a new TTRPG Castles and Crusades. It looks awesome and I’m very excited Also I just ran a charity D&D 5.5 game for 7 people this weekend. 12 hour high level game with terrain and lots of cool stuff on an adventure I wrote and we raised $1750 for Shriners Hospitals

So with the high rollers vip table they are hand picked by me people I’ve known and gamed with a long time. They set money aside and know this is a charity game going into it. It’s D&D supercharged. So I up the encounters to very deadly (but not too much. lol ). It’s $ 100 to play And at 14th level each PC got 6000 gold and 3 uncommons and 2 rates (or 1 rare and 1 very rare) for Magic. Plus each PC got a few greater potions if heal. For an extra $25 donation your character can start with an extra very rare item. Which a few people did . I think just sitting down that’s $775 . During the 12 hour game things happen as we know. And you can bend fate with cash. Like one person wanted to know 3 secrets about what was going on with the bad guy That was $20. One of the spellcasters paid like $30 to get some of their spell slots back. My big barbarian guy wanted to critical hit at a key time. And paid $10 It all adds up. Especially if somebody dies. Then people from the convention come up and watch and sometimes people pay donations to actually help the monsters. It’s a hoot. It’s an awesome day and alot of fun. I try not to let donations get away from the story and the roleplaying tho. It’s a balance. Also I have sponsors I get that give gifts to the players first their help. They usually walk out with $200 worth of gaming swag, gift cards etc. so they are very happy. This was probably the 15th year I’ve done one and I’ve averaged around $1500 a year. One year we did like $3500

@Tristan Fishel that’s awesome
Need advice
I’m looking to create a TTRPG experience that I can run for 25-40 people in a team building event for a company in like 2- 2 1/2 hours. I’ve got a lot of ideas on paper and I used some AI brainstorming to help me in spots. I’m probably 80 percent to completion for a final product. I use tables of 5 people and everyone gets a d20 to roll. Each table of 5 is the same class…ie strikers, defenders, scouts, arcanists etc an each table gets a story quest to figure out and accomplish using their teamwork, ideas and d20. Then each member of the team rolls and you add them up and compare group success or failure to a chart. The story is lead by this and consequences occur based on how each table’s missions go. Eventually leading to the final battle. I’m planning on using sound and PowerPoint for visuals. Thoughts? Suggestions? Ideas ? Any help I’d appreciate greatly

Welcome to the Game Master Laboratory! This is a place for people who are running (or planning) TTRPG games to brainstorm ideas with other GMs, share ideas and resources, and test their creations with each other. I recorded a short video to get you started, which you can view in this post. It's all about what we do here, but it's also about how to use Skool, so if you're new to Skool, make sure to check that out! If we haven't met you yet, we would like to. Please make a post in the "General Discussion" channel to introduce yourself and tell us... 1. Which systems you like to play/run 2. A bit about the games you're running right now Glad you're here. DM us if you have any questions.
