Hi all! With Canva’s newest update to their video editing, I find myself looking for a whole new video editing platform to use. 🫠 I thought I would ask for some suggestions on video editing software/platforms. I’m leaning possibly towards CapCut but would want to start out with their free version to see how user friendly it is. Anyone got any ideas?

Just wondering how often you post?

Big month for my channel, and it feels like things are finally lining up. I’ve started rolling out my holiday laser tutorials with Halloween projects (Thanksgiving and Christmas are already in the pipeline). Feels like I hit the timing just right because views and subs are both climbing steadily. We just crossed 4,000 subscribers, and earlier this month blew past 500,000 total views. Half a million! That number still makes me double-take. And the newest twist: I’m officially launching a Skool community this Sunday. Totally new territory for me, figuring out how to keep original content flowing in there while still keeping YouTube uploads going strong through the end of the year. So yeah, the next four months should be interesting. What do you think, am I crazy for stacking all this on at once, or does this sound like the right kind of chaos?

I am 59, single mom to an adult princess with special needs, and pediatric medical office Administrator with many years in healthcare. I am OBSESSSED with starting an online business and freeing myself from the slavery of the 9-5 and doing what I no longer love. I need to be more available to my daughter and create my own schedule. I feel stuck. Oppressed by the system of this country. I watch more YouTube than TV, so I decided this is where I want my business. Ideally faceless, but I'm not sure how to go about that. I've spent a lot of money on MLM companies and affiliate marketing and did nothing. I suffer from chronic fatigue, migraines, and long haul COVID problems, but I don't give up that I can make this happen some how / some way. I do easily get paralyzed and procrastinate and that is my biggest challenge right now. I get home exhausted and stressed, and there goes my evening plan to work on my business. Weekends are tough too, but no pity party here. My goal is to help others who are stuck especially divorced, single moms move forward in life and that is what my channel will initially be about.

Hey everyone, I’ve got a question about live streaming and its impact on your channel. For those of you who do live streams, does it actually help boost your regular video performance? I released a video on Wednesday that was doing okay but not great. Then, I did a live stream yesterday, and suddenly the views on my Wednesday video jumped significantly. I’m not sure if it’s just a coincidence, like YouTube finally pushing the video, or if the live stream played a part in that boost. For those who do live streams regularly, how do you plan them, and have you noticed them affecting views or engagement on your other content? I’d really appreciate any input or thoughts on whether live streaming could help videos perform better. Thanks in advance!
