Whatnot Lives
Hello beautiful people quick question. If you are doing a live and not selling for the first thirty minutes, do you end the live or continue. There is ppl hoping in but no sales. If you do continue how long do I continue for? Helpful feedback is appreciated.

I can’t believe you worded it that way, I was just talking about this. I’ve been selling in the same category for 16 months and have changed my time only twice in that period. I generally average $125/hr. Lately it felt weird the first thirty minutes - no counter bids and I was starting my bids lower than the “Whatnot” price and way lower than retail or other outlets/ comps , but just wasn’t getting any action. However last week it turned around and was one of my best streams.
If someone doesn't grab this, I will!
https://ebay.us/m/68E3J3 I bought some medals from this guy a moment ago. Not very good listings... Great coins. See the Michal Golan brooch?

Flea market haul
I visit my sister in Ohio every month to attend the Springfield flea market. I wanted to share my haul this visit. Scored all these for under $5 a piece. There are 3 bangers that will almost pay for the whole lot.

@Liza Ervolina my family is from Uniontown or Hartville Ohio. We moved to Florida in 77 and once you live in Florida, I had to wonder why anyone settle down in Ohio. I shouldn’t be so hard on Ohioans tho
Jewelry Rant
Well, half rant, half advice. Plain and simply put, I'm tired of watching new people or less knowledgeable jewelry people eat shit sandwiches from experienced individuals in this industry. It's just jewelry. It's not a secret recipe. It's not saving anyone's life, and it certainly doesn't make you better than the next guy/gal. Just be kind. Yes, you studied for 30 years, congratulations. I hope I'm not like you when I reach the same point. If jewelry makes you feel poorly toward other people or makes you want to be negative, then maybe you should consider a different hobby until you're ready to act like a respectable/respectful person. XO, Brad

This reminds me of the industry that I’m in, commercial fishing or recreational sport fishing. Some of these guys think just because they spent more money on their boat they know more or have more rights and when they speak to others, they certainly don’t do it with respect. All I can say is witnessing this as I was growing up made me decide. I was never going to be that way. I prefer being the guy that takes you out, shares everything I know so that you enjoy yourself and could possibly continue on with your own boat. I’ve never liked snobs, bullies or tattle tails. I figure they get their comeuppance in the end. I’d rather be the guy who shared and supported you than the guy who’s looking down his nose at you. There’s only 269 days till Christmas and Santa is watching
Peking Glass
I was thinking about terms folks use incorrectly. Two come to mind as I have a baby sleeping on my chest. 1. Peking Glass. 2. Micro mosaic Peking glass is layered often showing a white layer in the “carving.” What most call Peking Glass should be called “mottled glass .“ Micro mosaic pieces are very hard to see the tiles and are rare. They’re often museum quality whereas mosaic jewelry you clearly see the tiles—sometimes with empty space between tiles. I’ll try to find pictures.
