Want to learn about MCPs? Here's a one stop shop
The topic has come up several times. A little insight if you're wondering what it is. I'll post more on this as I learn. Feel free to add your own sources in the comments! https://youtu.be/eur8dUO9mvE?si=UhPXWCMS-hY7F5dl

Looking for a Next.js Library to Speed Up Chat Development
Hey everyone! I'm working on a chat app in Next.js and was wondering if there's a library that can help accelerate development. For example, when receiving a JSON response, the content includes newline characters (\n), and I have to manually handle formatting. Does anyone know of a library that can assist with this or similar chat-related functionalities? Another cases that came to my mind are store chats, list of chats, delete a chat, rename, etc. Thanks in advance!

Hay men, thks a lot for your response I was a lot of help, you give some ideas, I was about to do it from scratch. I was searching mainly for the front, because I think it was irrelevant the backend. As it said in the x I think it was only call an Api. I think it s at the begining confirm the relevant of the app or should I consider all this since the start of the project?
Which library or documentation does LLM struggle with?
I'm thinking of building a MCP server to dynamically retrieve latest docs. Which libraries would you like to see supported/indexed first? I find that even with the latest models, AI always incorrectly changes my OpenAI or NextJS related code. For example: - it ALWAYS changes gpt-4o-mini to gpt-4. - it often changes client.chat.beta.completions to client.chat.completions.create - it always uses Next 14 conventions when my project is using Next 15. You could put it all in .rules file, but that will inject it into every single prompt which could decrease the answer quality because its not always relevant and bloats the .rules file when you have many libraries you are working with.

I think its a great Idea, yesterday I was working in the translation of a app (I18n) , I took so much time with the ai to solve it, that I couldnt beleve. In some point I stop then go to youtube and solve it in 10 minutes, of course we need the doc of the library. What I imagine is to service that goes to the doc you give the lock file and it gives you the url of the doc, then you can place @ in the cursor

@Paul Li It struggle for the library "next-intl": "^3.26.4" and the documentation page was https://next-intl.dev/docs/getting-started/app-router/with-i18n-routing Just note that I was using app router and it is posible without it. It could get complex really fast
How to create professional looking web app with Claude.ai (or other tools) ?
Here's dilemma. claude.ai project (thanks for Brandon's tutorial!) doing half-decent job in creating functional backend code. But every time I want to change or improve styles - it generates bunch of changes in HTML + JS files and as a result - code blows up and it takes me hours to fix it for new styles to work. When claude.ai introduces bug in JS + HTML combo - it is having really hard time finding the cause and fixing it (and so as ChatGPT btw) and thus my ideas of any visual improvement are becoming big waste of time for no improvement in backend functions. I also tried Brandon' suggestion of providing it a snapshots of desired UI look - and i did it with the same result - big changes in HTML+JS+CSS -> code blows up -> after 2 hours of trying to find an issue - I reverted to previous working version with less nice UI. Luckily I setup github project with frequent updates. My current project is Web app that allows to CRUD entries in Vector DB and then observe how these entries helps LLM's to deliver answers. It is LangChain-based RAG customized for certain specific use cases. Backend functions are all working. On a frontend it involved few pages, with nav menus, tables, inputs, options, forms, view/update buttons etc. - which ideally i want to look cool, elegant and professional. So I think that maybe the right approach should be slightly different: - I should pick a solid UI framework for Web app myself at the very beginning of the project - and guide claude.ai to use it. - Then any adjustments in a future look and feel will be minor (say framework already supports dark- and light modes, presets, different table styling, etc...) - Then i continue focusing on backend functions moving forward. How does it sounds? My problem is I am totally clueless in UI/frontend frameworks and thus inviting a discussion on this subject - with hopefully interesting outcomes that all will benefit from!

you can try chatgpt o1 preview I ask a very difficult question of refactoring code and he did, and claude didnt. I also recomend you that you split the task, the first time chatgpt also didn do it, but I ask to refactor the code, make some small functions, this way ai should not mantain every thing in mind. What I really like it its that chatgpt o1 preview refactor and correct all the code in the second try. With this in mind You could ask: I want the table component, then the review button, remove button , and so on, each one with the right look and feel, and when is ready you can integrate every thing, this way you can re use the code and its simpler for ai to understand and work. Maybe one day in near feature we will not need to split the task but It will be scare when will not have to.
Imagine that you create an excellent AI product but no one use it...
... it will be painfull. Too painfull The data shows that many start-ups close not because the thecnical part, in what you are an expert, it is not the main thing. It would be great if you become an Ai expert but also a marketing, funnel, copyeriting, etc. So you can sell your products to a lot of people and they get value. Please, a couple o minutes and shere some good material to watch or read about how to create a sucessfull start-up and a small ideas why its important to review it This vedeo is from the cofounder of Mixpanel and is excellent about what to meassure in your projects(in fact the complete channel is good) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MABmQhOlmJA&t=1820s This text is amazing, it is about what feature build next and sure it is not what you think: https://andrewchen.com/the-next-feature-fallacy-the-fallacy-that-the-next-new-feature-will-suddenly-make-people-use-your-product/ Funnels, selling is very important, you dont want an app you want to sell https://www.amazon.com/Dotcom-Secrets-Underground-Playbook-Growing/dp/1401960464 Copywriting in spanish, this is about persuasive writing, a little bit of what I try with this text, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTTIVPgxCgY
