Sad news, Logan has unfortunately been released and is quite upset. Hopefully after a bit of time to process the news he will be eager to find a new club and continue his development and enjoyment of the game

So next season my team is merging with another team and some other adults and are hopefully going to be joining a women’s league, so 16+. Since it would be our first season we will be in division 4. I want to keep my options open and find the best possible pathway for me so yesterday I emailed a local teams manager asking for a trial, they play in the same league that my current team will be joining but in division one. He responded quite fast and I have been asked to come along to tomorrows training session 😃 The goalkeeper coach for my current team is leaving as his daughter is changing teams and he told me that whatever I decide to do next season, make sure I’m the only keeper at the club. I don’t know if this will be the case or not with the trial club but I guess I will find out tomorrow, either way it will be good experience and it will get me on the coaches radars, granted I play well of course. I believe they have a goalkeeper coach aswell which is good! I’m not necessarily going to leave my current club, just exploring options to give myself the best possible opportunity to achieve my dreams. Wish me luck!

Do any of you goalkeepers ever get asked or made to play outfield? Is it a natural thing for a coach to make you play outfield because they want to give you opportunity to score although you have never seen not scoring an issue or showed any interest in playing outfield Thank you

We are getting some new gloves as he has out grown them and we need a size 7. Any recommendations on these ones? We normally have the hybrid ones
