Hello!
I'm very excited to join the group and follow along with others projects and inspirations. We recently purchased a cabin and I'm adding little fairy details around the cabin for guests to explore. I made this fairy house for the fireplace mantel and have two fairy doors in the bedrooms. Next step is to create a fairy trail outside!

@Tiffany Streett thanks! It's listed on Airbnb and other booking sites. We just opened it in March, so it's been fun to see guests interact with all the fun things in the space.
Stolen twig 🤷‍♀️
Well tried to collect things today because it’s going to rain tomorrow. But Daisy was quicker 😂😂

Help 🤷‍♀️
How does one manage to hold all the bits together while they glue things together?

I've always struggled with patience, so holding pieces together while waiting for glue to dry is torture 😅 Thanks for asking the question!
Just can’t stop crafting……
Hi. Here are a few pictures of my recent projects. Beachwood Villages that are about 45 cm in length with fairy inhabited dwellings. A few of my fairy garden doors and what is beginning to look like a fairy shoe shop !! I can’t seem to stop making them in various colours and adornments. It does mean however that my fairy, Doris can have a different pair on whenever the mood takes her. 😁

Oooooo, I love your wall hanging fairly land!
Introducing: Mossy Manor
Submitted my first Fairy home to Annmarie Sculpture garden for their annual submission and thoroughly enjoyed the process of experimenting with new materials! Things I thought came out well: - horseshoe door (a technique I have done when leading workshops) with working knocker - working swing - popsicle stick interior flooring - tiled patio - painting expanding foam to look like rocks over the plywood base - the ladder coming out very clean with no visible glue thanks to being able to inset the rungs into holes - engraving swirls in stone, definitely something I will repeat - sculpting polymer mushrooms Things I didn't love the end result of or want to explore alternatives for: - covering the base structure in moss made the project a little more expensive and created a busier texture than I was hoping - adding more painted elements for bright spots of color, while I generally gravitate to a more neutral/natural palette I felt like this piece was a little flat in the end from a value perspective - the painted pond area I liked but am curious about adding epoxy in the future for depth/different texture finish - what to put behind stick window frame, here I had some depth and painted a candle glow color inside but wasn't happy with how it read

Wow! This is incredible! What a fun place to imagine being, especially the treehouse at the top.
