Here’s a Tool For You: “The Body Check-In”
Today's practice. 🙏 It is called The Body Check-In. It comes from the S.A.F.E. Reset Framework, the “A”: Anchored Emotional Tools. Before you go into anything hard today, a difficult conversation, a quiet moment with your husband, or just the next hour of your day, try this: STEP 1: Feel your feet on the floor. Press them down gently. Actually feel the ground beneath you. Say out loud: 'I am here. Right now.' STEP 2: One slow breath. Breathe in for 4 counts. Hold for 2. Breathe out for 8. The long exhale activates your vagus nerve. This is not spiritual metaphor. This is neuroscience. STEP 3: One hand on your chest. Feel your own heartbeat. Say: 'I am safe in this moment. This moment is mine.' That is it. Thirty seconds. Try it today and tell me one word for what you felt afterward. I will be here reading every single one. ↓
