Hey @Alex Pfeffer I noticed that when using Nucleus you don't use the "Tight" function. I am curious if this is on purpose or that you haven't used it ever and go with manual settings. I find that it works wonders in tightening the samples for lack of a better word :D

I've personally tried to learn Ableton over the past year and I find it as unintuitive as any piece of software I've ever used. I play live as well as craft midi. What DAWs have you had success with?

Hey everyone, Need your help picking the next ComposerOS video. The one I keep coming back to is a track visualizer build. The point: take a finished cue, turn it into something you can actually post on YouTube, without losing a weekend inside After Effects. Most composers I know have a hard drive full of music nobody ever hears. This is the fix. But I'd rather hear from you before I commit to it. Two questions: 1. Would a track visualizer video be useful to you? If yes, anything specific you'd want it to cover. 2. If something else in ComposerOS is higher on your list, tell me what. Hi I just joined the Audio Artist Academy, and wanted to share some of my thoughts on my favorite DAW: Reaper 7. which I've used the past 3-4 years, or something like that. Hope you find this small post somewhat useful REAPER 7 is my favorite DAW, not because it’s the most beautiful, but because it’s the most flexible. I’ve only used FL Studio and Studio One besides REAPER, and not that much, so this isn’t a definitive “best DAW” verdict—just why REAPER works so well for me. The biggest reason is customization. REAPER feels like a modular studio rather than a fixed app. You can dock panels where you want them, set up screensets for different stages of work, and generally shape the interface around your process. On top of that, you can keybind almost anything, which means the more you use it, the more it starts to feel like an instrument you’ve tuned to your hands. I cant remember all the super specific hotkeys I’ve setup, so I map them to my Stream Deck. REAPER also benefits from an incredibly active community. There’s no shortage of tutorials, and if you get stuck, the forum and community knowledge base are deep enough that someone has usually solved your exact problem already. That said, REAPER isn’t perfect. The default look isn’t great, and Reaper as a whole can feel a bit nerdy at times—especially when you’re deep in settings or routing. The good news is that themes can completely transform the visuals (free or paid), and they make a huge difference. A great place to browse is https://stash.reaper.fm/tag/Themes.
