Takeaway
Communication through profanity is both lazy and toxic. When Aaron said we have to stand guard with what comes into our mind and our mouth, I had something click. In writing, you can say something is really funny or you can say it's hilarious. I could drop the F-Bomb or I could articulate my frustration. One is more intentional, one is lazy. On the flip side, your thoughts become your words, your words become your actions. When I drop an F-Bomb out of frustration it is a sign that there's frustration internally that is coming out of my mouth, almost like a junky car leaks fuel. Thanks for the reframe @Aaron Seaton

The Best Time to Call a Lead w/ Mindset Coaching (?)
I noticed some of you provide mind oriented services, that can go deep and touch areas that can feel sensitive and personal. I'm wondering what did you find to be the best time to call your leads? Here's the situation: We run adds → people check the ad → leave the phone number → receive the video → I then call them with a goal to book a free strategy call. During the first call I ask them for sensitive answers (problem, impact), and I often get an answer: "this is not the best time for personal questions, I'm at work". So far it seems that people would prefer to have these calls in evening 7pm, or early around 7am. It just seems to be way off what I'm used to from previous job. @Flor Marques , @Ra Netjer , @Renee Cassard I know you might be focusing on these sensitive topics, were you able to find something that works for you? @Paul Clingan , @Bryan Goetz Irlaine Machado , @Aaron Seaton I believe you all have experience helping people change their bodies. Haven’t you faced a similar challenge?

This is from Chris Voss --wrote a best selling book -Never Split the Difference on negotiations. He suggests asking, "Is now a bad time?" Chris Voss's "Is now a bad time?" approach is psychologically brilliant for several reasons: It triggers a natural "no" response, which Voss identifies as one of the most powerful tools in negotiation. Most people will instinctively say "No, now's fine" or "No, I have a few minutes." This gets them saying "no" to something negative (bad timing) while simultaneously agreeing to engage with you. It demonstrates respect and empathy right from the start. You're acknowledging that you might be interrupting and showing consideration for their schedule. This immediately positions you as someone who values their time rather than someone who assumes they should drop everything for you. It gives them control and an easy out. If it genuinely is a bad time, they can say "Actually yes, it is" without feeling rude. This removes pressure and makes them more likely to suggest an alternative time when they can give you proper attention. It's disarming compared to typical sales approaches. Instead of the aggressive "Do you have a few minutes?" (which implies you're taking their time regardless), you're essentially asking permission and showing you're prepared to be turned away. This unexpected courtesy often catches people off guard in a positive way. It starts the conversation with honesty and authenticity. You're being genuine about the possibility that your timing might not be perfect, which builds trust from the very first exchange. This approach works particularly well with new leads because it immediately differentiates you from pushy salespeople and establishes you as someone who operates with emotional intelligence and respect. Exactly the kind of person they'd want to do business with.
