💬 Let’s Talk Booking Sites!
What booking platform are you currently using for your business? - ✨ Acuity - ✨ GlossGenius - ✨ StyleSeat - ✨ Booksy - ✨ Square - ✨ Vagaro - ✨ Your Own Website Scheduler - ✨I’m old school, manually scheduling clients What do you love about it and what you wish it did better. 💡Your booking site is more than just a calendar, it’s part of your client experience and your brand. The right platform can help you: - ✅ Collect deposits - ✅ Reduce no-shows - ✅ Keep client information organized - ✅ Automate reminders - ✅ Save time by letting clients book themselves - Not every platform is built the same, so it’s important to choose one that fits your workflow, not just what’s popular: ✍️I use Acuity Scheduling The biggest reason I chose Acuity is because clients can upload photos when they book. Since I REQUIRE clients to send a photo of their hair and what they would like to have done prior to booking. THIS IS A MUST!! This feature is a deal breaker. It saves time and helps me prepare before my client ever walks through the door. I also like the personalization. You can customize quite a bit, and the pricing is reasonable for everything that’s included. Now, is it my favorite? No. I think the backend could be organized much better. The layout is pretty basic, and while that’s great if you don’t want anything complicated, I do wish it felt more modern. I also think they could do a better job with marketing features specifically for beauty professionals. Overall, it’s a solid platform that gets the job done and offers a lot of flexibility. But if I had a choice it would definitely be GlossGenius hands down! 📌It almost gives you the feel of having your own website without actually building one. The booking experience is beautiful, the service menu looks professional, and the overall branding is hard to beat. 📌The only reason I don’t currently use it is because clients can’t upload photos during the booking process. For my business, that’s a deal-breaker. If you need inspiration photos, current hair photos, or consultation images, your clients have to send them separately by email, text, or another form, which creates an extra step.

I use StyleSeat, they have upgraded so much over the years. I love their new client referral and power booking feature . I have received several new clients that are existing clients from the referral program. Also I like how style seat uses power booking when a time slot is popular or you are having a slow week to help increase revenue. Their power booking is an additional 20% clients agree to pay on top of the initial price. Also I am able to create an intake form to where my clients have to up load photos. It ask about allergies and hair history. I also have it to where they have to consent to my quickweave removal policy along with my general policy. Now they have an Ai feature that can enhance your photos and you can also upload videos and photos of your work and assign them to services . Last but not least I love their promotion options you can send through an email or text to your clients

I use Chat for every I would say my comfort level is about a 9-10. I have build a 30 days social media posting plan . I want to create a flyer next . I am still playing around with it .
Let’s take a moment to be honest 🙏
Building a business can be exciting and exhausting at the same time. Some days you feel unstoppable… and other days you question everything. Just remember: growth doesn’t always happen overnight. The people who win are usually the ones who keep showing up, learning, adjusting, and staying consistent even when things feel slow. 💎 A lot of businesses don’t fail from lack of talent. They fail from burnout, fear, procrastination, self-doubt, and giving up too soon. Sometimes the hardest part about staying motivated is when nobody’s clapping. Posting when nobody’s engaging. Working when you’re tired. Believing when results are moving slow. So, let’s focus on becoming the version of yourself that can HANDLE the success you keep praying for.

Definitely 1, 4. I’m building my clientele from scratch in a new city. However I’m trying to find my rhythm on social media. IG isn’t what it used to be when I build my clientele 8yrs ago in my hometown. However I’m getting more traction on facebook and TikTok. But I need to stay consistent with posting. I have a lot of content from years ago to where my styles are still current . That has been my saving grace .
