Experiences with BoA or Wells Fargo Business Secured Cards/Lines of Credit?
Hey everyone! I’m looking into ways to build business credit as a non-resident without waiting for the typical 1-year ITIN history that traditional banks usually require for unsecured products. I've seen that Bank of America offers a Business Secured Credit Card and Wells Fargo has Business Secured Credit options. I'm curious if anyone here has successfully opened these? Specifically: - Approval: Did you manage to get approved with a new ITIN or by using an existing personal relationship with the bank? - Graduation: For those who have them, how long did it take for the card to "graduate" to an unsecured line? - Reporting: Does the Wells Fargo secured line report to all three major business bureaus (Experian, Equifax, D&B)? - Process: Did you have to go into a branch, or were you able to facilitate the security deposit and application remotely? I know BoA is tough without history, so I’m hoping these secured paths are a viable "backdoor" for us. Would love to hear any DPs or strategies you guys have!
Got into Navy Fed; what should I open with them?
I just got into Navy Federal. I'm wondering what I should open with them—like a pledge loan, secured card, business account, personal account, etc. If there's an area in the classroom on this, please let me know. I could do something like a $20,000 pledge loan if that will help me.
Rental Kharma/Rent Reporters to increase credit age.
I’m looking to use a service like Rental Kharma or Rent Reporters to backlog my rental history and increase my credit age, but I’m curious if anyone has successfully done this without providing formal transaction history like rent receipts or bank statements. Since I'm currently using my brother’s US address as my residential address, I’m wondering if these tools can effectively age my thin file in this specific situation or if the verification process creates a hurdle for ITIN holders. If Anyone has experience with using these services, I'd appreciate your insights.
Where to get authorized users? (ITIN)
I want to start building my credit age, but I don't really know where to buy authorized users. Can someone link me a site to buy AUs, as I don't have any family members or friends that can add me on as an authorized user?

Okay that makes sense—thanks.
Credit Strong
Hey guys, I recently took a trip to the US and opened a few accounts and got several credit cards with Chase, Bank of America, Citi. I also have a Capital One card from applying remotely a while ago. When I got back home to Canada, I tried to open a Credit Strong account. I put in my US residential address, my ITIN, and everything for the installment program, but it gave me a page saying they can't help me at this moment because they can't verify my identity (or something like that). Now I have to wait 30 days to try again. Has anyone encountered this same issue? If so, does anyone know how to correct it? Any insight would be helpful. Thank you.

@Apple Service okay, thanks. That makes sense.

I'm also wondering if maybe I got this issue because the address on my ITIN is my foreign address instead of my US residential address. Does anyone know if that makes a difference?
