🎯Coach's Corner
You don’t need seven different dinners every week. Or seven different breakfasts. Or seven different lunches. Somewhere along the way, variety can turn into another expectation we put on ourselves when we're trying to eat well. But there’s nothing wrong with finding a few simple meals that work for you and eating them regularly. Repeating meals can make grocery shopping easier, reduce the number of decisions you have to make, and give you reliable options when life gets busy. You still want variety in the foods you eat over time. But every meal doesn't have to be new to be nourishing. If you have a meal you could happily eat every week, what is it?

I’ll eat anything with sweet potatoes every week. So I like to make either chicken or turkey meat and some other veggie (brussels, broccoli, zucchini, etc) and pair it with the sweet potatoes for meal prep. So good!!

⚔️Weekly Challenge
This week’s challenge: Simplify one meal. Choose one meal you eat regularly and make it easier. Maybe that means choosing one breakfast you can repeat all week. Keeping the ingredients for a simple lunch on hand. Cooking enough dinner to have leftovers. Or creating a go-to meal you can make in five minutes when you don’t feel like cooking. The goal isn’t to make the meal more impressive. The goal is to make nourishing yourself a little easier. What meal are you simplifying this week?

Lunch is the meal that I’m simplifying on the busy days this week. We got a rotisserie chicken and some salad packs, so that will be something healthy that I can quickly throw together!
📆Prepare for the Week
I’m looking at the week ahead, and there are already plenty of things competing for space. I’m guessing I’m not the only one. 😂 So instead of making a long list of everything I want to do well this week, I’m choosing 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁. Something that doesn’t automatically get pushed aside when the schedule gets busy. Maybe it’s my workout time. Maybe it’s getting enough sleep. Maybe it’s eating an actual lunch instead of working straight through it. Maybe it’s a few quiet minutes before the day starts. There will always be things we can’t control about the week ahead. But we can decide ahead of time that some things are worth making room for. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸?

I want to protect my off days to do my schoolwork. Sometimes doing it gets lost because I have so many other things to do, but I would like to stay on top of it before it piles up and gets overwhelming.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸? Maybe you moved your body, fueled it well, got some needed rest, followed through when you didn’t feel like it, or made time to reflect.

I went to the gym even though my schedule changed and I didn’t feel like it.

I was more aware of my sugar intake through what I drink this week.
