uhhhh much to say about conditioning here. Jump rope is good but not if you are already well trained at it and you have added other ballistic movements.Jump rope is ONE tool because its cheap and you can do it anywhere. But I encourage our judo/grapplers to broaden how they VO2 [tmill intervals, ruck etc] More importantly and you know this is to train your sport! This enhances conditioning. Save your energy for the ring and don't OVEREMPHASIZE the rope. Keep in mind volume gotta be mangaged for sustainability. What is your goal esp. if you are i a jump program?. We see many lower extremity overuse injuries in our elite athletes because of HIGH VOLUMES that are not necessary...
