🔥 SKOOL WORKS: $947 sales - #139 Discovery (#3 Arts & Crafts!) - 21 days 🔥
On 19 June I started a brand-new free Skool community for Affinity Photo Creatives. At the moment of writing, here at the current stats: - Gained 546 members (80% active this month), - Earned $947 in (low-ticket) sales, - Ranked #139 in Discovery (#3 in Arts & Crafts) - In just 21 days, which is NUTS! 👇🏽 Here's an overview of HOW I did it + my the BIGGEST mistakes/takeaways: 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊 1: 1. Start a FREE Skool community and create a GOOD about page. 2. Create START HERE-post for new members to introduce themselves for first engagement, and explain how to get the most out of the community. 3. Repurposed old course material that unlocks at lvl 3 to boost initial engagement. 4. Shared community link in YT community post (then 13,5k subs), FB group post (2k members) and email (1,6k subs). 5. Changed the CTA in video descriptions of my 30 most recent YT videos. (One video took off, which lead to boost in new members coming over from Ps). 6. Recorded and shared a Skool community video tour for YT channel (and About Page). 7. Did first free live group call to meet and start building relationship with new members + asked feedback to shape the community THEIR way (still do this EVERY live call). 8. Made a few value posts and encouraged members to share their art. 9. Engaged with every new member, comment, DM, etc. (still try to do this). 10. End of week: 276 members. (= 276 new members) 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊 2: 1. Got Zoom subscription to record live calls for members who can't attend live (unlock lvl 2) 2. Did 2 more free live group calls to build relationship and get feedback. 3. Added a short free course for all NEW members (quick win). 4. Fine-tuned the About Page: improved copy, added value stack, and real testimonials in graphics. 5. One-Time-Purchases got introduced, so moved my low-ticket brush bundle course to Skool for a discount ($37, normally $57) to attract new members -> Made first Skool $$$. 6. Growth of the community slowed down, but engagement and satisfaction went up! 7. Created more 2 more YT videos, with CTA to join Skool. 8. Continued engaging with all members in DMs, comments, live group calls, etc. They're engaged and love the community vibe. 9. Started hopping on calls with other Skool community owners and likeminded people to bounce off and share ideas (works magic!). 10. End of week: 386 members. (= 110 new members)
