So many of my watches have black, white or blue dials. Going today with another less common dial colors. I always appreciate the rich cream dial on this Hanhart. Happy Sunday gents!

Anyone else just love a themed watch? I agree watchs a are great to make a statement for how you hold yourself. But I also belive they are a glimpse into your soul. A watch can look sharp but bring in your hobbies and likes. Heres a few theamed watch I would love to get and of.

Happy Field Watch Friday! A dreary day this morning, so going with my Militado ML05 38mm VH31 Quartz Field Watch with its happy orange, sunburst dial to brighten things up a bit. I do not have a "plan" guiding my collection. I merely pick up things I like along the way. But for some reason, I seem to have kept all of my field watches to either traditional black or cream-colored dials, with one white. I went in search of a second white, the white dial Militado that I love, and came across this one along the way -- with this amazingly beautiful orange sunburst dial. With "orange" being my favorite color, clouds suddenly parted, the heavens opened in a radiant glow, a gentle warmth settled over me, angels sang, and one for perfect moment everything felt right. Then my head was immediately filled with flashbacks of favorite sunburst guitars over the years! Without thinking, my hand instantly hit the "Buy It Now!" button. Happy Sunday Everyone!! Been a busy day getting ready for the week ahead and the associated travel. So I brought out my Grail & Superhero to keep me on track! The Chameleon! I ran into this watch by chance as I was walking by a jewelry store to meet my wife and kids for lunch in about 2004 or 2005. This watch hit me square in the face! I said to my wife THIS is the watch I want to have 1 day. I went a long time without buying anything watch related for many years, but 1 day I had the opportunity to find this watch on the used market since it had been over a decade since it had been discontinued. Fortunately for me this was before all of the "certified Pre-owned" being brought back in house with Rolex and the subsequent craziness in the preowned market. When I found it I showed it to my wife and she said "Well are you finally going to buy it? or are you just going to keep pretending you want it" 😜. That was her way of saying I want you to have it and you've saved for years in order to get it so GO GET IT! This is why I love my wife so much as she knows how hard it can be for me to do something like this for myself, but she knows how to push me in the right direction. Hope you all have an mazing day!
