I deeply believe in this book series. I believe children deserve language that explains their nervous system instead of shaming it. I believe big feelings, shutdown, stimming, demand anxiety and hyperfocus aren’t flaws — they’re signals. I believe stories can shift how a child sees themselves. This series centres around regulation and misunderstood behaviours including sensory overwhelm, movement and stimming, meltdowns, demand anxiety, hyperfocus and more They’re simple, reassuring stories that help children understand what’s happening in their body — without blame. The aim isn’t behaviour control, It’s understanding. That’s why I emailed literary agents. It’s scary the idea of going big but I want them to go global they need to be heard so I believe necessary!
