How to Handle Memory
Hey Crew, I’ve been getting into building AI chat systems recently, and I’ve run into a big doubt around managing memory — especially session-based memory. I’m using the OpenAI Python SDK directly, not relying on frameworks like LangChain, so I’m trying to figure out the best way to keep conversations consistent across sessions. I did try out Haystack, but honestly, it felt super heavy and added too much latency for what I need. Curious — how are you guys handling memory in your chat systems? Any clean and lightweight approaches you've found that work well without too much overhead?
