@Demy Watts The series sounds brilliant. But I think your hook might need to be snappier. Right now, it's reading more like a first paragraph. How about something like… One newbie keeper. One opinionated puffin. And a crumbling ancient pact. When Maris Thorne inherits her grandmother's seaside cottage, she finds herself with so much more than she'd ever anticipated. Her conservancy for magical sea creatures puts her at the heart of an impending battle between selkies and humans. And then the rest as you have it now?

@Brandon Chin Ooh, actually… I just went on a search for your books. Are you aware most of them aren't available to readers in the UK? Kobo has one. Apple has none. And even Amazon only has four.

@Dana Birkmour I feel that. If I want to write anything at all, I have to go where the muse dictates.

@Jill Cooper Yeah, we recreated the ad from scratch, but using mostly the same material. It had been working great. Now, not so much.

@Cristy Robinson Sounds like you got exactly the intended message. These ladies are straight-up unaliving bad men. But they're doing it while drinking tea and knitting woolly jumpers.
Where do you work?
Is thee a coffee shop you love to work at? Let's see it in pics! Here is mine but I have to get better angles

SI CLARKE (she/her) writes sci-fi without the pew-pew. ELLIOTT HAY (two Ts and any pronouns) writes cosy(ish) crime fiction.
