Just listened back to this. Ooft. That was a lot. I really felt for you @Norma Watson . Really challenging. And it gave me a nudge to refocus on prioritising that space for myself. How are you doing this week with it? X

@Norma Watson yes I can definitely see how her style has impact! And also how it doesn’t work for everyone 😋
Saying hello! - and a request for mindful fiction recommendations
Hi everyone, wanted to say hi and keep myself accountable. I gave myself permission to relax my routine on allowing and meditation for a little while but it's time to come back. I can feel my busy brain returning so I'm posting here for some accountability. I use my yoga as a route to meditation but I know I need to find a way to weave some more back in. I tried to listen to a chant on my yoga mat for about 6 mins last night and it was a CHALLENGE! I'm on Pippa's wait list for a 121 and I think I've been using that as an excuse not to do the work - i.e., it's ok because Pippa will fix me! 😂 Anyway, wanted to say hello and that I'm still here and that I'm commiting to you all that I'll do one nidra or meditation or allowing before sunday evening. Sending love x Also any recommendations for a gentle book on all this. Wondering if there is any fiction out there with similar themes? UPDATE - I did my first Nidra for a while tonight so I feel like I’m winning. Off to bed now with my self care planner!

I am the same @Faye McDonough! On Pippa’s list and perhaps just thought I’d wait until she sorted me out 🤣
Absence
Hi everyone I have been a little quiet lately. Rex’s dad passed away last week, two days before we flew out to Croatia. We were told to be on standby four weeks prior to this, so as you can imagine mentally draining for us both. As it was, we still managed to get away and we come home on Saturday. Fortunately Rex’s sisters have started funeral arrangements so not too much to organise when we’re home. When I was in the Strong Humans Project run by Keris and Matt they taught us Plan A, B and C. Plan A is where you manage to achieve everything during your day that you planned to do. Plan B was to perhaps achieve half of what you did, Plan C was to tick off at least one thing. No matter what plan you managed you still call it a successful day. I’ve been at Plan C for at least 4 weeks now. So although it’s lovely sitting in the sun and enjoying this beautiful place, I’m looking forward to some me time again when I’m home and to catch up properly on here once the funeral is over. Lots of love Xxx

Sorry to hear that @Gillian Leeman . It’s never easy no matter the circumstances. Take care of yourself amongst it all x
Checking in before I say goodbye for a bit
Hello, I haven't been on here for months and it's mainly been because I've had absolutely zero energy and so have had to ration out my spoons carefully. So I'll be saying adieu for a bit whilst I do some work 1 to 1 with somebody who I hope can help me which means I need to focus all my finances into that. I've enjoyed what I managed to access and wish everyone well xx

Making Things Easier For You 💖
I'm going to start adding a monthly classroom e.g. September, with some bite size content on one theme of aspects of the mind body connection so you can focus on one thing. We can then share our reflections on this one thing as a group 💖 It will be posted up next week so keep an eye out 👀 Don't forget we have our live session Guided Emotional Allowing with Sam Miller tomorrow @ 10.30am 👇 https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82434277101?pwd=JGGGR84ZXjmkcKpzDcaMlfpX3eEzgL.1

@Edel Flynn I like the last question best 😋 If we were really truthful, the answer to this would leave us with almost nothing! I think about what I’m going to be left to sort out when my mum dies and I think I might want to keep about 0.5% of her belongings! 🥹

@Edel Flynn isn’t it so interesting how different people approach this?? My husband has nothing of his dads, other than a cardigan because it’s a good house one for winter 🤣 Although he says it makes him feel like he’s turned into his dad 😋
