Betrayal has a way of following us long after the moment has passed. We replay conversations, question what we missed and wonder whether we can trust our own judgment the next time. And when we're leading a business, those experiences can affect more than our personal relationships. They can influence how we delegate, who we collaborate with, how much control we're willing to release and whether we feel safe trusting someone else with something that matters to us. But I've been reflecting on this… Our security doesn't have to depend on somebody else's ability to be trustworthy. 💗 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝟮𝟲:𝟯 (𝗧𝗣𝗧) 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘂𝘀: “𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗼𝘂; 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂.” That doesn't mean we ignore betrayal, abandon healthy boundaries or automatically trust someone who has broken our trust. It means we can learn to experience security in Holy Spirit even when another person's choices have shaken us. 🕊 An invitation to pause with Holy Spirit: 𝘼𝙨𝙠 𝙃𝙞𝙢, “𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙙𝙤 𝙄 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙚?” 🎨 I've included today's colouring page as a gift for everyone in KPP! Give yourself a little time to colour, reflect and notice what Holy Spirit brings to your attention. 💗 The complete Quiet Time Journal, with its complementary colouring pages, is also available. I'll share the details in the first comment.
