How to include everyone in the holiday fun
Hi everyone! Well, I have taken some much needed time off but my brain kept spinning on things I wanted to talk to you about and get your insights. Holiday times can be some of the hardest to balance all the events, activities, shopping, baking, visiting friends and loved ones, etc etc. And, it can be particularly hard when you have friends or family members that can't easily join you for a whole lot of reasons (illness, injury, can't drive, lives too far away...) So, how do you include those loved ones who may end up feeling left out of all the fun? Here's a few ideas on how to keep everyone involved but I'm sure you have more you can add. Be sure and vote -- then add your comments on what you've done in your family.

We are close so we take turns switching locations. It works well. That way everyone feels included in all the activities. And Yes @Elliott Rashed is right. I hate driving at night, not a safety issue, but my family will come to my place when they know it will be late. Love to everyone. Happy Holidays!
So when will you decide to stop driving?
Sounds like a crazy question, right? There was a recent poll done by a local radio station on what age someone should stop driving. The last results showed that most voted for age 70-84 as the time someone should stop driving. But, the stats show older drivers are safer drivers than younger drivers. So, what do you think is the appropriate age or situation for you to stop driving? Vote and let us know why you voted that way.

So, I don't think age has anything to do with it. It is ability to react and not put yourself or others at risk. I know people in their 40's that shouldn't drive, and people in their 80's that are great drivers. LOL
Welcome to Elliott and Raid

@Elliott Rashed very true. I have been putting a book together, " I'm Dead, now what!". LOL but it gives all information on where and what accounts and insurance is. Who to contact specifically to either shut down businesses I have running, like affiliate marketing stuff, book publishing, or bookkeeping and legal document creation, how to keep them running. 😊You, Elliott are on that list for my stuff in GHL and Meta ads and maybe even Mailerlite, as my son doesn't even know I affiliate market ( or I should say am trying to affiliate market). So he would need to know how to keep it going or shut it down. One son, one heir. Nor would he have any idea how to shut down Mailerlite or FB ads so it was just continuing with the royalties and no more marketing?? I can tell you right NOW the first thing you Must do is to make arrangements on Who you would want to raise Sophie should something happen to you both simultaneously. A will with guardianship instructions. These are things I do for people, is design their will and provide it to them so they can save on attorney fees and just take the completed will to their attorney for perusal. Also a Medical POA and Financial PIA, as well as, a living DNR, is extremely important. Who makes those decisions if you cannot. I also provide those. All documents I provide, for a fee of course, are legal and by each State requirements. OK so much for that business of mine, (which I know you didn't know I do, nor do I market it🤨) Marsha is very good at this information and dealing with elderly issues many of which I am sure we do not even think of! I am here in this community to make sure I do not forget something. 🙃
Working on a new course
Hi all, I am currently working on a new course that will cover a number of key issues on being a family caregiver and working with older adults. While I have my own ideas of what I want to cover, please drop me a comment and share with me what you think are some of the key areas we could all use some tips and hints on as we care for aging adults. Thanks!! Remember -- feel free to share this group with others and encourage them to join! Here's the link: bit.ly/3IKSo3J or they can use this QR code:

Perhaps how do deal with the ageing's attitude. I went through H with my mom thinking I was just trying to take advantage of her after my Dad passed.
