Introductions and Visions
Please introduce yourself––where are you and what brings you here? This is also the place to post your vision! And…what days and times work / work best for the Live Lab? 90 minutes weekly. We’ll record it in case you miss it.

I don't have a grand vision to bring to life, but I do have a fondness for peculiar questions, unexpected connections, and experiments that don't necessarily know where they're going. One thing I'm particularly curious about is what happens between our individual projects. What might we discover in one another's work that we'd never have thought to look for in our own? So here's a question for the room: Has anything unexpected already found its way into your project and changed how you think about it? I'm particularly fond of happy accidents.

@Two Socks oh thats nice. Can you recall what it was that that caused think about it that way? Most people would insist on immediate rewards and the security of momentary success rather than what effects it might have stretching into the deep future. That's a profound shift. Was it something you picked up here? A guided meditation perhaps?

Something that caught my attention was the distinction between pushing toward an outcome and creating conditions in which something unexpected might emerge. I've been exploring the idea that sometimes our most interesting discoveries happen when we stop trying to maximize a particular result and leave a little room for the unexpected. It makes me wonder: How do we recognize an opportunity we weren't looking for? And perhaps more interestingly, how do we avoid overlooking it simply because it doesn't resemble what we originally set out to accomplish?
Part 1 Life Mind is Up!
I just uploaded the first three chapters into Part 1 --hope you like! The idea is that you'll read a chapter and then reflect in a post--where do you see yourself in this story?
