Honestly super hard to say what weight someone should start at since we are all so different. I will say that I currently have the 6 kg and the 8kg cobra clubs. For a workout the 6 is fairly light, but nice for warmups and circuit training. I do think the Delta clubs are variable weight, so maybe that is a good place to start. I have the 30 lb and the 35 lb Deltas for two handed swings. I’ve lifted my whole adult life, so not a slouch. But 18 lbs for single arm swings is going to be difficult at first. 6 kg or 14 lbs Cobras for single arm swings is my two cents. You will definitely always use it.
