MS STIHL 271 I can choke it and it pops off and switch to fast idle and it goes up into rpm. Then I tap the trigger and it idles down but it acts like it's starving for fuel. I have looked at the fuel filter and the fuel line going from carb to tank and there fine. So im guess I need a new carb?

Myself do way more removals over the last 3 yrs as a contract climber.
