Fire Safety Event 2026
From 28–30 April 2026, The Fire Safety Event (FSE) returns to ignite the halls of NEC Birmingham, bringing together the entire fire safety community under one roof. FSE is the premier destination for fire safety professionals, installers, integrators, consultants, and end users to connect, collaborate, and stay ahead of the curve. https://www.firesafetyevent.com/?utm_source=pmax&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=mcm_fse_2026&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23552330053&gbraid=0AAAAAo25bWTEaY9f7HEZVoAvZHH8_sSCU&gclid=Cj0KCQjwkMjOBhC5ARIsADIdb3e4Yp7gQFpDobhQQmDItOqW6EKakqEgxFt0KEgdtkJv9vLwr5PpE9EaAmGvEALw_wcB

@Steve Platt noted
Is this issue as straight forward as it looks?
Why? How would you deal with it? Include manufacturers standard detail if you have time.

Put Your Resource links Here.
This discussion could well be the most valuable resource for everyone in this group. As admin we’ll be copying links here to assist everyone in finding answers to everyday issues we all come across and we hope that you’ll do the same. We are specifically looking for links to Regulation, Legislation and standards, along with manufacturer materials of all types from standard details to D.O.P’s and H&S Guidance, in fact anything that can or may influence the way we all carry out our duties in the passive fire sector. To kick off we’re starting with a link to the foundation of everything we do, UK Building Regulations Part B (inc all revisions and updates):- https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/fire-safety-approved-document-b And what will be one of the newest and most eagerly awaited Standards in the Passive Fire Protection sector, BS 9994 Fire Strategies in buildings. Keep an eye on how this standard takes shape to gain an understanding of how BS and EN standards and norms shape how the sector operates within these guidelines. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/fire-engineering-profession-reform/next-steps-on-fire-engineering-profession-reform
