Hi
Hi, I’m from Southern California. I definitely feel like a black sheep where i live. I struggle to find “people like me” with majority of pillars and values aligned. In a season of realignment, surrender and reconfiguration.

@Eric Freedom I am from so cal and I understand having a hard time finding your people. My brother still lives out there and is a part of a good crew that truly leans in to what God has for them. Some legit entrepreneurs in that group. I can make an intro if you would like.

Welcome to The Black Sheep Club 🐑
If you’re here, chances are you’ve felt it before. That quiet sense of not quite fitting the mold. That nudge to take a different path, even when it doesn’t make sense to everyone else. Shaun Austin Gordon currently reside in the Indianapolis Indiana suburb called Zionsville. Born and raised in OC but my business needed to move manufacturing and Indiana is where we landed. In 2028 we are hoping and praying to buy down in Nashville. Current season: three kids. Oldest is 24 and struggles with anxiety and depression. Has addiction as a coping mechanism. My middle got married in August of 2025 and that was the best day of my life so far. Off to a rough start with the hubs struggling with work and anxiety now. She is carrying a lot of my youngest is 16 and doing pretty well. We have a friend of his living with us about 95% of the time. That kid has been through a lot loosing his brother back in 2020. Single mom that works two jobs trying to survive. Pouring into these kids is a gift and comes with a heavy load. My wife and I are coming up on 25 years of marriage in March. It has been a heavy few years and God has blessed us with each other. Our marriage is really good and we are both getting tired. Life keeps lifeing and apparently God believes that we are strong. I am founder and ceo of a company that manufacturers albums for photographer and that company is 20 years old this year. It has its ups and downs and we have a lot of cool things to build on the horizon. I walked into recovery in Feb of 2010 and was honest about all that I had done and all that had been done to me in my life. I was planning on taking that stuff to the grave but it was time to heal. Grateful for Gods Grace and for the humans that went through that season with me. Grateful to be here. Thanks for this group @David Maus Jr
