Gold House Ventures Founder Fellowship In partnership with the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), Gold House Ventures selects 15 tech startups to participate in a 14-week entrepreneurship program. Resilience Scholarship Applications Now Being Accepted for Women and Girls in Los Angeles County LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles County Commission for Women is proud to announce its Resilience Scholarship Program, designed to support women and girls in Los Angeles County who have demonstrated resilience and determination in the face of adversity. “As we embody the legacy of celebrating the strength, determination, and resilience of women this Women’s History Month,” said Edward Yen, Executive Officer for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. “It’s paramount that we continue to empower today’s young women to pursue their educational and career goals. This scholarship invests in the future leaders who will continue to shape and redefine our communities.” The scholarship program, now in its 26th year, aims to empower women and girls to pursue their educational and career goals, despite challenges they may have faced. "We are thrilled to offer this scholarship program to support the resilience and determination of women and girls in Los Angeles County," said Dr. Regina Smith, President of the Los Angeles County Commission for Women. "We believe that education and economic empowerment are key to unlocking the full potential of women and girls, and we are committed to helping them achieve their goals." Applications for the Resilience Scholarship Program are now being accepted through March 28, 2025. Applicants must be residents of Los Angeles and enrolled in or plan to attend an accredited university, community college, or certification program. A selection committee will review applications and award scholarships to deserving recipients. Scholarship funds can be used for tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses. FUNDING - Efforts to End Hunger Funded by Kroger

Geographic scope: Communities where Kroger Family of Companies operate, as well as nationally Description: Kroger's charitable giving supports nonprofit organizations in communities where Kroger Family of Companies operates. Support may also be available for national initiatives. As part of Kroger’s Zero Hunger | Zero Waste plan, priority is given to nonprofit organizations and programs that help end hunger and waste in Kroger communities. Support is also provided in the focus areas of sustainability, health and nutrition, disaster relief, diversity and inclusion, and education and youth development. Cash donations are provided, including through grants from The Kroger Co. Foundation and The Kroger Co. Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Foundation. Other types of support include sponsorships, gift card donations, and in-kind product donations.
