Checking in
It's been awhile since I checked in, in fact, this is my 1st post on skool....I started my journey, with the help of Kristina, in Nov of 2024. I had a SW of 212lbs... in aug/Sept, 2025, i hit my goal weight of 132lbs.... then, it was time for me toi start my maintaince part of this journey. It took my a few mths of trying to calculate the right dose, which would allow me to eat but not overdue it.... over the last few mths, i have maintained my 132lbs weight by going one month on and one month off, i do the first 4 weeks of the starter dose, then I go of for 4 weeks.....I havent put any weight back on....food noise stays at bay, for the most part... what maintenence plan works you?

advice
I am seeking advice regarding my weight loss progress. For almost three years, I was administered Semaglutide and initially achieved a significant weight loss of 50 pounds. However, It began to be to experience a plateau, and way to expensive prompting me to investigate alternative options. Over the past six months, I have been conducting research. Upon initiating Reta i started at a low dose and worked up to 2 mg per week, I experienced an initial weight loss of 8 pounds within the first two weeks, but subsequently regained the weight. I had someone recommend that i start Tesamorelin, I gained an additional 12 pounds. Currently, I am struggling to understand the cause of my weight loss plateau, as I am adhering to a healthy diet and engaging in daily walks of 2 to 3 miles. Recently, I increased my Reta dosage to 5 mg, and they suggested i start cargi but have yet to experience weight loss. Considering my medical conditions, including lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Hyperthyroidism, fibromyalgia, and menopause, I am seeking advice on potential additional steps. I am on medications to ret to control my health issues. am also receiving lipo-c-B12 injections and have previously tried Mots-C. Do you have any suggestions?

I had issues with stalls and ended up to an eight week break. I restarted with Reta 2.5mg weekly and in the first week which is today I've lost 12lbs!
Progress Update
I started my peptide journey in terrible health on June 1, 2025. And in just 5 months here’s what’s changed: I am a 59 year old male. - 💪 Hormones Restored: Testosterone went from 123 → 1,484. - ⚖️ Weight Lost: 260 lbs → 222 lbs (down 38 lbs: 32 fat, 5 muscle). - 📏 Waist Trimmed: 42 in → 37 in (5 inches gone). - ❤️ Blood Sugar Reversed: A1C from 6.3 (pre-diabetic) → 5.4 (normal). - 💓 Blood Pressure Normalized: 148/89 → 120/80. - 🩺 Liver Health Restored: AST 56 → 33, ALT 83 → 39. I have specific year-end goals I’m trying to meet and this is a life long journey, but I’ve made good progress so far. Main goal now is to lose 22 lbs and build muscle.

👏 Great work!!
Changing GLPs
Has anyone has better luck switching from Tirz to Reta? (Semi did not work at all.) TS has plateaued for the past 2 mos on Tirz. TS refuses to go above 7.5 mg Tirz due to SE. What SE are we seeing with Reta?

You're better off going up in dose. The reta will take time for your body to adjust. WHEN I switched I ended up starving. How my dr explained it was the body is working more in tune and using foods, carbs, etc properly and its craving for more. I know some say this isn't their case but almost anyone ive spoke to this is their main complaint. So with the dose on tirz, here's my advice. I would do microdosing and add in a small amount. Im on a reset right now but when I was using, I did 3mg on Monday and then Thurs I did 4.5mg. And if ypu wanna jump up you can do 5mg each day instead. Or you could add cagrilintide. It had done amazing for me!
Cancer Suxs - follow up
In the end, we all have a date when we leave this life. This is killing me… My husband, as I affectionately called him my Honeybunny, passed away August 27th. He was contious and completely aware even as he was transitioning. I miss him more than …. He never had the opportunity to go home and try peptides to help him. A word to others, if you notice changes in YOUR person… be assertive, proactive, be a bitch…. Make them go to the doctor and not the VA. Hugs and prayers for all on this journey for wellness, healing, and a healthy life. 🙏🏼❤️‍🩹✝️
