Hi everyone ✨ I’m Shalini. Indian by origin and roots, but a 4th-generation Indian Malaysian, currently living in Malaysia. My culture lives very strongly in me, spiritually, emotionally, ancestrally. I’ve always been a seeker. Always felt slightly out of place in the conventional world. I know I carry certain gifts, and I’m slowly learning how to honour and harness them instead of questioning them. Right now I’m in the in-between space, still in the corporate world, but deeply feeling the pull toward something bigger, something that gives back, something more aligned with service and truth. My journey became profoundly deeper when I lost my husband four years ago. I have a 6-year-old son with him, whom I home-birthed.. and I’ve always felt he chose this path, chose me as his vessel, chose a different way of being. We lost his father when he was just over two, and since then our journey together has been one of grief, healing, and intense inward spiritual growth. A year ago I met my partner Dayallan, and life expanded again. I’ve now been lovingly upgraded to three beautiful, strong boys: 14, 8, and 6. Motherhood in this form has been one of my greatest initiations. Dayallan will be joining this space soon as well. We both see the world a little differently. We found each other in a reality where many things don’t make sense, yet we deeply know we are not wrong in how we perceive life, energy, and duality. In Malaysia, people walking this path can feel a little hidden, but small communities do exist, and I feel called to either build or contribute to something larger than myself. Not from complaint, but from responsibility and love. I want to create change, even if it is small, for my children, my community, my neighbours, and even the strangers I may never meet but still feel connected to. I trust deeply that we are beings with immense power who have simply been taught to forget. We are far more than our names, roles, and conditioning. I’ll stop before this becomes a four-page essay 😅
