👼 Are You Taking The Road To Hell Or Heaven? 😈
For 3 years, the first thing I did every single morning was waking up and taking an ice-cold shower. Credits to @Maarten Gruson Until 1.5 years ago, after coming back from Bali and rediscovering myself, I stopped that because I didn't want to anymore. There, I realized I had been following routines just for the sake of discipline, not necessarily for myself. This shift made me want to focus more on what I enjoyed rather than what felt hard or uncomfortable. Fast forward to today: My current mentor mentioned taking a cold shower... 🥶 How it's not about 'wanting' to do it. But actually, it's more about making the uncomfortable choice every single day. Consciously taking that choice of NOT wanting to do it, but doing it anyway. So, since this week, I've taken a morning walk and then jumped into an ice-cold swimming pool. Every morning I'm thinking f*ck I don't wanna do this.. This will be cold... uncomfortable... I'm looking at the pool, smile and think: 'But I'm gonna do it anyway, ' and jump in. That builds character & Trust in yourself. Which then reflects back in each era of your life. Especially in this day and age, with all the distractions and temptations, it's so easy... So easy to stay in bed just a little bit longer. So easy to spend money on comfort rather than invest. So easy to stop at outreach number 50 instead of 100 In our lives, we're presented with choices every single day. The road to hell feels like heaven, and the road to heaven feels like hell 😈 What's one hard choice you can make that will pay off 10x in the future? 👼

I would think about how each action compounds . Maybe spending that time n a different way compounds better over time? For example stretching or brisk walking or lifting or breath work or meditating? Maybe cold exposure can be done strategically as part of a protocol that includes wim hof breathing or something like that, which then makes it enjoyable and bliss inducing as opposed to just 🥶
Am I Fat?
Yesterday during a BBQ I got called out for being fat. . The truth is, compared to my friends I am. One of them mentioned it was because I didn't 'see myself as someone who's shredded yet' There is truth in that. Some seasons I'm ALL-IN focusing on my health and getting 'close' to that my dream body.. But whenever life is 'good' Sales are coming in, Money is being made, Wife is happy, I tent to be comfortable. And we can see that in my appearance. Curious what are your favorite ways for staying in shape? P.s. Everyones definition of 'fat' is different. For me in this context it means having a higher fat % than I want.

@Avatar Daan Based on your photo I think you have around 20% body fat? Maybe 25%? I'm struggling with the same issue too and I find that when I'm able to get 15K or more steps per day, I very quickly get below 20% and towards the skinny territory
As to your question Am I Fat? I selected Yes, just to be on the safe side, because you can be skinner than you are in a healthy way. Having said that you might not actually be fat. I think you're right on the border between them :) not a bad place to be whatsoever By the way, speaking from experience , my recommendation is actually to figure out your blood sugar levels and insulin sensitivity before worrying about fat %, because that's way more important. Avoiding diabetes. Growing muscle mass is another separate thing . You could be muscular with a higher fat % for a while, and that's ok too.
