Arch Linux Installed !
Thanks alot for all the encouragement from the last time I posted here. I pressed and was able to install Arch Linux successfully. I went on to install Vivaldi, Obsidian and tmux. I have a 30 day plan to learn basic linux but I'm not sure if it is the right thing to do and what exactly to concentrate on to get myself prepared ready for using devOps tools

What is your game plan? How do you plan to start off learning Linux?

Cloud Engineering/DevOps Guidance
I’m currently a master student in cybersecurity intrested in DevOps and cloud engineering. I found a video online on how to become a cloud engineer which he suggest complete some certs and do projects. As I completed my AWS cloud practitioner and on my way to complete the Sysops admin by next week. Also practising terraform. I would like to know shall I go back and do Linux as I only know a bit or shall I just keep going forward. Thank you very much guys

Haven't been on this community for long but as far as I can tell. Linux seems to be imperitive to landing a DevOps role. I would highly encourage it.

@Noor Latif Still going through the material and his YouTube videos. Haven't looked into that one yet. Is it any different from the courses he is offering on his paid community?
Running into a hiccup with the 7-day Kubernetes guide (using Fedora Atomic)
I’ve been working through the 7-day Kubernetes guide and hit a small roadblock with Fedora Atomic desktops. The issue is that `dnf install` doesn’t work on these systems, and layering packages with `rpm-ostree` would slow down future updates significantly. # Background: Why I switched to Fedora Atomic Like Mischa, I recently ditched the classic Linux environment for Fedora’s Atomic OS. I was inspired by his approach of treating a personal laptop like production-grade infrastructure. Instead of Silverblue, I went with Fedora Atomic Sway to challenge myself with a tiling window manager and boost my productivity. Now I’m running an immutable OS and learning to containerize everything. Mischa explains the philosophy really well in this video: https://youtu.be/gxWgceGx5Os?si=7cb1LoFmRF3k9mV3 # My solution: Rancher Desktop in Toolbox I wanted to give back to the community, so I figured out how to run Rancher Desktop on Fedora Atomic without using `rpm-ostree` layering (there’s no flatpak available either). The trick is using the toolbox containers that ship with Fedora. I’ve written up the full guide here: https://dev.to/noorlatif/run-rancher-desktop-on-fedora-atomic-desktops-toolbox-container-method-9oi
