Cloud Engineering/DevOps Guidance

I’m currently a master student in cybersecurity intrested in DevOps and cloud engineering. I found a video online on how to become a cloud engineer which he suggest complete some certs and do projects. As I completed my AWS cloud practitioner and on my way to complete the Sysops admin by next week. Also practising terraform. I would like to know shall I go back and do Linux as I only know a bit or shall I just keep going forward.
