@Surya Pratap it’s all about approaching it like a mental gym. Doing the exercises and practicing the techniques and Joe. jump in the classroom and knock out the express course.
Learning to Be Present
I recently finished Module 4 on presence and it really made me reflect. I’m someone who spends a lot of time traveling to future. I’m always worrying, overthinking, trying to be “prepared.” But instead of helping, it’s been keeping me in a constant state of stress. Learning about “time traveling” and using tools like the STOP sign technique and breath work has already made a difference. I’m definitely still working on it, but I’m so much more aware now! Feeling grateful to be learning these tools and to be part of this community!😄

What’s pissing you off?
i’ve been traveling around the country doing a bunch of workshops, teaching people how to pause when pissed. That’s the true Jedi skill. And very difficult to do. I’d love for you all to share with me some of the things that piss you off. What are some things that trigger you? And we can start to put together some strategies, tips, and techniques to help mitigate it. Don’t hold back.

@Ryan Velázquez sadly that’s pretty prevalent. Frustrating for sure.
Managing Time Versus Energy
I recently read a book by John Gordon called the Energy Bus. It is an interesting concept of how to live one’s life by focusing on protecting our energy. The story challenges the ideal of being productive isn't managing your time. Which one do you value more? Time or Energy?

@Daniel Chowdhury exactly right. It’s all about learning how to protect your time and attention. People waste both and therefore expand and waste all of their energy. People will often use the excuse that they don’t have time to do something, when in reality, they don’t have the energy to do something because they are inefficient with their time.
Whatcha read'n?
What are you reading these days? That's one of the twenty one questions my Dad asks when we visit. Well, I'm asking you. Per Dr. Seth's recommendation, I'm reading 101 Essays That Will Change The Way You Think by Brianna Wiest I usually run through books, being the voracious reader I am. However, I'm really trying to digest as much as I can. Usually a chapter at a time. How about you?
