I have a hard time adjusting and finishing the north south choke. It feels awkward for me. Could you possibly show finishing mechanics and variations to this choke?

Lately I’ve been playing around with lasso guard and find my sweeps being shut down by an opponent that bases heavy and/or puts good pressure on top…Could you possibly give some tips on lasso sweeps?
