Vibe-Coded Website Transfer (Keeping SEO & AEO)
I just finished remodeling my website using Claude Code: https://billwidmer.com/ It is entirely vibe coded and SEO-friendly. I moved from WordPress to Astro, fixed a bunch of technical SEO issues, and came up with consistent branding that I'll be using everywhere. I've had a "personal brand" for 13 years. It's got me warm referrals and a fairly cushy life for most of the 2020s. But I never really took it seriously. That changed this year. My entire focus for the next several years is to fully commit to becoming an authority in the space of AI search optimization, building a personal brand, LinkedIn following, and eventually an email list. Part of that was the new site. Part of it was investing in @Sam Rathling's LinkedIn social selling cohort. I'm curious if any of you are hard-committing to your personal brand. Drop a comment with your plans and I'm happy to share what I'm learning and help where I can!

Holy cow... that website looks like a million bucks man, great job on the attention to detail! So you're no longer user WordPress then? I've never used Astro, looks super interesting and yikes... I'm so invested in WordPress already (so many paid themes, plugins, etc) PS. forgot to add I AM literally going to start my own personal branding journey, I want to quit my full time job ASAP so prioritizing this, is KEY for me right now.

Iโ€™m trying to build something genuinely useful for ADHD brains in my country โ€” in Czech, not English. Few weeks ago, I put out a survey and offered people the chance to connect with me for one-on-one online conversations about ADHD. Today I had my first call with someone from that survey, and honestly? I loved it. There were so many moments where I completely understood what she meant. She talked about constantly losing and forgetting things โ€” one of those โ€œclassic ADHDโ€ struggles that doesnโ€™t hit me as hard personally. But the truth is, Iโ€™m aware that in my case itโ€™s probably overcompensation. I check everything seven times: keys in pocket, phone in bag, car lights on. My brain basically runs on manual verification mode. One thing she mentioned really stuck with me though: the lack of understanding from people around her. Even her boyfriend thinks adult ADHD isnโ€™t real. And I run into the same thing online all the time. Whenever I post about ADHD on Threads, thereโ€™s usually at least one comment along the lines of: โ€œYeah right, another person blaming ADHD for everything.โ€ I was also at a lecture recently where the speaker made one of those jokes: โ€œNowadays everyone has ADHD, right?โ€ And honestly, I couldnโ€™t even tell whether he was mocking people like usโ€ฆ or reacting to the flood of trendy self-diagnosed content where someone jokes about forgetting the trash outside because they saw a squirrel on the way back in. The weird thing is: in the Czech Republic, a book about women with ADHD recently won the biggest and most prestigious literary award in the nonfiction category. Awareness is growing. And yet there are still so many people who think ADHD is either fake, overdiagnosed, or just โ€œlittle hyper boys climbing chandeliers. โ€The rise of โ€œfake ADHDโ€ influencer content really isnโ€™t helping either. Have you experienced this too? How do you deal with being labeled โ€” directly or indirectly โ€” as lazy, irresponsible, or someone whoโ€™s โ€œjust making excusesโ€? And honestlyโ€ฆ how do we get actual ADHD awareness outside the ADHD bubble? Because even if I start making YouTube videos, the algorithm will mostly push them toward people already interested in ADHD โ€” not the people dismissing it in the first place.

How do you deal with being labeled โ€” directly or indirectly โ€” as lazy, irresponsible, or someone whoโ€™s โ€œjust making excusesโ€? For me, it's pretty simple, I don't. I don't deal with anyone who is trying to label or lecture me, specifically when I'm the only one inside my head. I know why I do the things I do and why I don't do the things I don't. Sometimes it's me, sometimes it's a thought, sometimes it's an emotion or a belief or simply being afraid of whatever can or will happen next, but it all comes down to me. My way of thinking and being is not the same as a person who is not neurodivergent. If they are too ignorant to know this, then that's on them, it's not on me. This is just my way of looking at this and my personal opinion of course. ๐Ÿ™‚

@Alena Sladkovskรก Oh for sure, I struggle with RSD myself every single day but at least, I'm aware of it now! ๐Ÿ™Œ
Momentum Monday: What's Your Big Goal This Week? ๐Ÿš€
Happy Monday, Founders! You know what time it is - time to announce your goal for the week to hold each other accountable! This week, I am beginning a cold email campaign for my B2B SaaS SEO/AEO services. I learned a ton about how to do this from the course I'm taking by @Mark Webster over at Authority Hacker. My hope is that I'll close a client from this by the end of next week. But we shall see! What's your one thing this week?

@Bill Widmer recording a video, offering an invitation to work with me, sharing an idea, a strategy, a thing I recently solved, etc (anything on social media, blog, online medium, email, online offer -landing page-, etc) makes sense?

@Bill Widmer yes!
What would make this community actually useful for you right now?
Things have been quiet in here since the name change. I've been working my butt off on a new software for you guys, a free course/7-day momentum reset challenge, and some other goodies. But I'd love to hear from you guys. What do you want to see right now? What do you need help with?

More connection with the community, maybe calls to share and listen to others, etc. I way too much information, I don't need more data or understanding what I have, I'm looking for a place to hear about the experience from others who are further down the road and share my own wins/struggles as well so it's a 2-way thing (I believe in the power of giving, not just taking!)

@Dorothea Rรถhrig music to my ears, congratulations once again!! And yeah, I already burned the boats once (being a dad and all) and yeah, I don't recommend doing that, at all.
Throttle Thursday: Push or pull back?
Happy Thursday, founders. Some weeks you outrun your plan. Some weeks your plan outruns you. Both are normal. One day left before Friday reflection. You're either on track or you're not. Either way is OK, but being honest with yourself is the only way to improve! No self-judgement, just data. What can you cut today so Friday ends the week with a bang? Drop what you're letting go of in the comments.

I 100% pulled yesterday... I had a vicious meeting that left me mentally drained for the rest of the day. I want to make it a push day today. I have a ton of useless meetings to attend but I still want to make an effort to move the needle somehow, even if just a bit. I won't have perfect days where I'm not bothered by people or stuff from my job so I better start getting used to become a bit more prolific even when I'm not in the best mood for thinking or creating. So yeah, I want to decide a few things that have driven me crazy for a few months (niche selection, problem I solve) and get moving!
