WELCOME TO THE EXPERT COACH COMMUNITY My name is Ed and I hope this is going to transform your life like nothing else you have experienced before. . . The Expert Coach Certification is sold for £5,000. This is not some fake marketing technique to get you to trust me. The truth is the online space today is not that empowering. There are few communities available for coaches and consultants That provides real value and most are just spam communities. . . Day in and day out my ads get bombarded with negative comments about coaching I get tired of people commenting negative things. how all coaches just want to make money etc Coaching is a scam etc Making money is not why I decided to become a coach. There is nothing wrong with making money from coaching However, if it is the most important factor to you as a coach You are most likely going to fail. . . Money is a by-product of being an amazing coach. Money is a by-product of being able to create amazing transformations with clients The truth is most coaches/consultants are just not that good at the skill of coaching

Hey @Erwin Van Der Weele I am also not a native English speaker but could follow everything easily. In many cases there is an option to slow down the speed of the video. For example on loom, it’s on the right side at the bottom, next to the “full screen” button. This link goes to the same video that’s attached to this post: https://www.loom.com/share/2f8894bed20d4fa2a4bc2a8894541501?sid=ba172a3b-6649-4984-bd2b-831c704ac731 And basically you can also just read the post. It explains pretty much everything. Also here you may find another post with basically the same information: https://www.skool.com/lifecoachcertificationfree/classroom/8ba4b069?md=023fc73b2bb14a25ba0bb47e14264f32 Wish you best of success and please feel free to let me know if you still have problems 🙏

@Doaa Mohamed you’re literally commenting under the post that explains how… Did you read it, or watch the video?
Are Sports Coaches and Life Coaches Really So Different?
At first glance, sports coaching and life coaching might seem worlds apart… One takes place on the pitch, the other in a more personal, reflective space. But dig a little deeper, and the similarities become striking. Whether it's a football coach like Arne Slot demanding peak performance from Mo Salah, or a life coach supporting someone through a personal or professional crossroads… both are working toward the same thing: unlocking human potential under pressure. Terms like resilience, focus, adaptability, discipline, and recovery aren’t just for elite athletes. These are the same traits that help people navigate complex life challenges: from career transitions and relationship struggles to burnout, self-doubt, and identity shifts. Both athletes and individuals outside of sport experience the highs of progress and the lows of setbacks. And just like in sports, when your internal resources (energy, mindset, motivation, etc.) get depleted, performance suffers, whether it’s on the field, at home, or in your day-to-day life. But here’s the twist. Athletes have coaches for almost every aspect of their lives… fitness nutrition mindset performance They train hard, rest well, and recover intentionally. Now think about everyday life: long work hours, family responsibilities, emotional stress, minimal downtime… and no structured support system. There’s no training ground for life. Most people are expected to "just deal with it" on their own. This is where life coaching steps in. A life coach is like a personal trainer for your mind, emotions, and overall well-being. They help you gain clarity, build confidence, shift perspectives, and take action. Whether you're stuck in a rut, facing burnout, going through change, or simply trying to live more intentionally, a life coach helps you reconnect with your potential and design the life you want to lead. Unlike a therapist, a life coach focuses on the present and future, helping you move forward with purpose.

Exactly!!! Thanks for sharing this insight Ed 🙏 That angle is a great selling point and might actually make people better understand what we’re doing and why that’s important for pretty much any human being. My cousin - who happens to be one of my beta clients - has been involved in semi professional sports for a huge part of his life and in our first session he made exactly that reference… That’s why it was super easy for him to see the benefits of working together. Plus he actually wants to pay me even though I offered to work for free with him. If only the majority of people were semi professional athletes 😁

Why I talk to strangers
I got chatting with a stranger in the park yesterday. She was walking a sausage dog, and we ended up sitting together for half an hour. Random? Maybe. I mention it because it's incredibly difficult for people to get in the present moment and really enjoy what they're doing. We're always thinking ahead. Or behind. Rarely right here, right NOW. And it's not until something radically changes your circumstances that you get a chance to appreciate the present. It might sound cliche… But it can be challenging to enjoy what you're doing in the present moment. That's why I make myself talk to strangers everywhere I go. Today alone, I've spoken to: - a receptionist - a security guard - a lifeguard - a flower man - a gardener And yet… I'm naturally introverted. Sure… I do public speaking and run events. But I'm actually quite quiet by nature… I don't need to always share my thoughts and I'm comfortable sitting in silence. On the other hand… When we went from live events to completely online, one of my biggest challenges was the lack of interaction. Because the less you engage with people, the harder it is to engage with people. For example: My partner's been ignoring everyone at the gym. Now she has a reputation for being unfriendly, even though she's lovely. Last week she decided to try my approach and afterwards she said: "It's a bit nicer, isn't it, when you have a nice little chat…" Exactly! Speaking to strangers is a muscle. When you don't use it, every interaction feels awkward. When it's strong, you can connect with anyone. And that connection is the heart of great coaching. If you can't be fully present with a stranger for 5 minutes, how will you be fully present with clients who are paying you? If you can't listen deeply to someone talking about their dog, how will you listen deeply to someone's intimate personal problems? So here's my challenge for you today: Speak to 3 people you'd normally ignore. In real life. Just a simple conversation.

Hello again @George Veerasamy Susairaj As announced, here I am ☺️ I guess it really depends a lot on what you’d like to achieve with your content. And also whether you prefer just writing or if you also like audio or video - which also can make sense to be scripted. Then there’s the question whether you like to write more long form or shorter “stories”. Also where you like to consume content yourself can play a role, but probably more a secondary one. Let’s start at the top: Do you have a website, or anything where you would like people to go in order to work with you? Or how are you currently monetizing? Well actually before that… is monetizing your content even a priority for you? If you want, we can continue this conversation here - so that maybe others can also take something away from it. But it’s also okay if you want to keep it in the direct messages. Let me know, and I’ll keep going ☺️
