Gmail and Claude Clearly Hates Me (Day 1)
I was starting out on my day 1 journey and I didn't expect to spend 3 hours trying to figure out how to synq my gmail to claude code. I was following the video step by step but for some reason it won't let me send the HTML file on gmail. So I was prompting again and again asking it how do I do step A and then step B just to connect gmail. But nothing seems to work even after migraine inducing level of concentration for 3 hours. Until finally I took down all the connectors, restarted my computer, opened up a new folder and started from scratch ... it now works fine. But HEY that was my journey and you can see the newsletter I made via Claude code. Not perfect but I'm looking forward to the journey. Here's my Day 1.

This is sick! Thanks Nate!
One mindset shift changed how I think about AI automation.
Most people start with the tool. n8n. Zapier. Claude. Codex. Instead, start with three questions: R → What repetitive task do you do over and over? T → What tools or steps are involved? O → What output do you actually want? Once you can clearly define your R, T & O the automation becomes much easier to build. The AI is not the hard part—knowing exactly what you want is. Curious... What's one repetitive task in your daily workflow that you wish AI could automate? I am always interested to see how different people approach automation. If you enjoy practical AI automation tips like this, feel free to follow for more.

Hey Zane, this makes a lot of sense and I didn't consider this. Thank you very much for the insights and I'm looking forward to what else you'll share in the future.
7 Day Challenge: Day 1 = Day Done sOn!
Hey everyone, hope you're doing well! So this is my Newsletter Project done! Was cool, the first thing I've properly built with AI. You'll see I based the newsletter on songwriting (a hobby of mine), so this is actually my second run of the project. On the first run I followed along with the example topic Nate presented, Agentic AI. One thing I've learned - AI is a great guide. Self-healing, finding any problems, finding solutions, and doing what it can by itself but roping me in where nescessary. For example, I wound up having to connect gmail to Claude to get it to send me the newsletter. And then also do a whole thing setting up Google Cloud console. One thing I'd improve - When ready, use the Kie and Perplexity APIs. As you can see in the screenshot, I didn't end up using Nano Banana via the Kie API. Nether did i use the Perplexity API. They would've cost me 5$ a pop, and right now I'm trying to learn what I can with as little cost as possible. So I used Claude for everything. But this was a great proof of concept, just for me personally to actually see what AI can do. All in all. Great experience, my thanks to Nate. Dope dude!
